Turn Social Networking Contacts Into Affiliate Marketing Customers

This must be the target and to reach this target, you need a deeper and more creative strategy. Just a link on the social networking site is not enough, you have to present a reason, a benefit, why a reader should visit your affiliate marketing site or blog. How would you do this?

The key is like in all advertising, that your social networking link and all copy with that, must be able to stand out from the crowd of many other affiliate marketing texts and to offer unique and useful benefits in a personal way.

As we all know there are several social networking sites, which all need there own approaches. Their business ideas are different ones, so are the targets. The basic idea is to respond to these basic needs.

And you have to determine, whether your affiliate marketing business fits for a social networking site in question. It it does not, do not use it.

For instance, Facebook and MySpace are general social networking sites, but Squidoo has its own profile, which is more useful for the affiliate marketing, because its ability to get targeted traffic.

The challenge is not to enter these sites, but to draw targeted traffic to your web site or blog. To get the answer to this, you could set yourself into the trousers of your potential prospect in these sites. How you wait that other affiliate marketers or prospects would behave towards you?

1.Affiliate Marketing Is A Numbers Game, Also In The Social Networking Sites.
This means that you have to grow the number of contacts, to build a base, with whom you can communicate and deepen your image. Around 60 contacts is enough to start with.

Most social networking sites have their own built in tools by which you can get contacts with earlier classmates, old friends and fellows. One great opportunity is to launch invitations to these people or affiliate marketing contacts, when you will meet them.

The big number`s law is incredible, if you build two contacts on the first day and every contact adds two contacts every day, in the end of the month you have over 20 million contacts. And in the social networking you never know how many contacts your contact has, because they all are networkers!

2.Use Segmented Approach.
The battlefield is the social networking site, other sites there and especially the members, who all are looking some benefits for their own affiliate marketing. The job is simple: offer useful information and do not try to sell anything.

3.The Personal Contacts Are The Best Ones.
The very nature of social networking site is that it is a forum, where other members are waiting for personal approach, so it offers an excellent opportunity to take fruitful contacts and turn them little by little as long term ones.

If usefulness is a key, another key is activity. The more you show your ideas on these sites, the more results you will get. It is a part of the big numbers law!

6 Deadly Marketing Mistakes That Should Be Avoided

Are you involved in network marketing? If the answer to this question is "yes", then you may be using different marketing techniques in order to build your business.

Listed below are free MLM marketing tips, which cover the 6 deadly marketing mistakes that should be avoided at all times.

1. Quitting to early

Just because you have failed using one particular marketing strategy, do not cease to use that particular strategy. It may just simply be a case of you requiring further education or it may be necessary to run a few tests before coming to your final decision. Some of tests that you can run include headlines, ad copy, various incentives etc. It is important not to give up too soon.

2. Failing to offer a solid guarantee

Whether you undertake online or offline marketing, it is important that you have a guarantee. This is feared unnecessarily by many people, as they automatically presume that others will take advantage of them and drive them out of business. Of course, it is perfectly natural to think this way, even though it is absolutely false. Rather than offer a guarantee on the product, why not include a money back guarantee, as this will also increase your sales.

3. Failing to target a market

No matter what you decide to do when it comes to marketing, this tip should be followed at all costs. If targeting everything and everyone in MLM is something that you are attempting to achieve, then good luck! Even in MLM you need to specify who your target audience is. It could possibly be those who are searching for a duplicatable system in order to attract business prospects. It could even be people who require more skills in how to build a downline. No matter what case it is, it is always imperative that you ask yourself who you are trying to reach before you begin any kind of marketing campaign.

4. Failing to undertake research of keywords

Keyword research is vitally important no matter what kind of marketing you are doing online. If keyword research is something that you fail to do, then your target audience will not be able to locate what they are searching for. If you are not going to invest some time into researching relevant keywords, then it is simply a waste of time marketing anything online. By undertaking this research, you will save yourself frustration later down the road.

5. Using an advertiser simply because of their readership, listenership for radio, or viewership for TV

This free MLM marketing tip is specifically for those who really wish to create and think outside of the box. For instance, whilst your marketing methods may enable you to afford these advertisements, if you are advertising a female product on a radio station from 2.00am to 5.00pm that is for sports talk, then you need to ask yourself, "how successful will your campaign be"? Therefore, ensure that you target your audience in the correct manner.

6. You have no upselling

This free MLM marketing tip may step on some toes. If your MLM product or service only allows you to sell one item per customer, then this will prove difficult in times ahead. A job is the only thing that you will have. It is important that your customers are offered more than just one product or service in order to ensure that they return to you time and time again. If you do not do this, where is your residual income?

Therefore, in conclusion, these free MLM marketing tips really can be an advantage to you. Focus on proven marketing strategies that will take your business to the next level and avoid these 6 deadly marketing mistakes at all times.

6 Things To Know Before You Start An Internet Marketing Home Business

Are you ready to start an internet marketing home business? Here are 6 things you should consider when starting an internet business of your own.

1. Even though you are doing your business at home and on the internet you may have other costs. Those could include getting it up and running such as a table or desk to work on, chairs, a phone, file cabinet, bookshelf, paper, pens, and paper clips. You will need a computer, possibly a printer, computer paper, and so on.

2. You may have more time than money. Others will have more money than time. It is cheap to set up an internet home business, but you have to deal with your own set of circumstances and build it from where you are starting.

3. You will need hosting for a website or blog, a domain name, and someone to build your own website. It may even be you, or you can hire someone to do it for you at places like eLance.com. One other thing that all successful internet marketers do is build a mailing list using an autoresponder company such as GetResponse.

This is perhaps the most important step and should not be skipped. Building a mailing list is as simple as offering something for free in exchange for contact info from your prospect. The long term benefits of having a mailing list of thousand of names you can market to is obvious.

4. Be sure and include quality graphics on your website. This will make it look more professional. Add a blog and really begin to gain momentum quickly by adding a comments sections and other things like video, audio, and polls to make it really interactive.

5. Someone in your company will have to learn to write. You will be replying to email and adding fresh content to your site or blog if you get one. Fresh content is what makes a home business advance beyond that of the competition.

You can hire a good ghostwriter if you do not like to write, or do not have time to do it. The important thing is to build a business by offering many pages on content relating to many different keywords people are searching for products on. If you do that you will be a success.

6. Finally, be prepared to become an expert on getting traffic to your site. Without visitors you will not make any money in your new internet marketing business.

MLM Leads: The Reason Why You're Not Having Success With Them

I was at a breaking point. After calling leads for two hours, I realized that was starting to think that I wasted my money buying these real-time, phone verified leads. They were no better than the regular leads I normally bought. I really couldn't see the difference.

Perhaps you've been in my shoes-you've spend hundreds or maybe even thousands of dollars on leads, only to find out that it would take you awhile to get good enough to sponsor anyone from them.

If you have a budget that can support your ongoing costs of purchasing leads (until you get good enough), then leads can work out for you. For me and countless thousands it didn't.

For one thing, buying leads takes the control of your business away from you. You're reliant upon the lead vendor to produce leads at the time you want them. I'm sure there were times your vendor didn't deliver your leads on time, or worse yet, a lot of the leads you talked to were looking for jobs, not businesses.

Not having quality people to talk to definitely slows you down. And relying upon a lead vendor to give you that, is expecting a bit too much. Right?

I've always had a problem with sharing-even as a kid. I can remember fighting over crayons- "I had it first, so it's mine!" Well, when it comes to purchased leads, you're going to have to put all your unresolved issues of sharing away. You see, more often than not, the leads you'll get will not be exclusive to you. You will have to share.

So in a nutshell, you're going to be fighting for your leads attention from every other network marketer those leads were sold to. That is why when you call some leads, they tell you that they're sick of people like you calling them all day long.

In some cases, these prospects fill out multiple forms on the Internet. In more cases than not, those leads have been sold to not only multiple network marketers, but to other lead vendors as well-only to be resold again. If you haven't had success with leads, now you know that the odds were against you from the very start.

What you need is a marketing system that creates your own exclusive leads for you and at the same time sells a retail product that produces an income for you. Once you're able to create your own leads, you'll see the odds of success will be stacked for you instead of against you.

Getting prospects to pay you is no simple task, but this makes it a lot easier: http://www.mlmInternetSystem.com

Network Marketing-How to Get on the Path to Success

It stung me like a bee. I was waiting for something profound. This network marketing icon always had a "Joe Schroeder-ism" up his sleeve. I wasn't expecting this from him: "Until you are ready to do what it takes to get success, it will always be one step ahead of you."

I've heard similar cliches like this so many times before; I'm sure you've heard them too. But there was something different in the way He said it. Sometimes hearing something worded from a different angle, or hearing it from a different person makes all the difference in the world, whether you "get it" or not.

And Joe Schroeder just isn't any some pretend network marketing "guru." This guy has been in network marketing over a decade. He has built two million dollar downlines in two different companies; so when Joe Schroeder says something, you better listen and take heed.

That's why it's good to learn from many different people-but only those who are worth listening to. You could study for years with the same teacher and still not completely understand everything that is being taught. But it's that different voice that puts a new twist on an old paradigm which can make all the difference in the world.

The next obvious question is how do you get yourself ready for success? It all starts in the mind. It's more than just positive thinking and affirmations. If that's all it took, then we would all be multi billionaires-wouldn't we?

You see, success is a decision you make. It means you stop making excuses as to why something can't be done. You stop making excuses as to why you can't do enough. And most importantly, you have to be ready to do the things successful people do.

A lot of people talk the talk, but don't necessarily walk the walk. When you say you're going to do something, do it. There's only one thing worse than losing your credibility-and that's losing credibility with yourself.

You can become your own worst enemy by the actions you decide to do or not do. That is the deciding factor that tells you if you are ready for success. Your actions must be congruent with those of a successful person.

If you truly want to get on the successful path in your network marketing business, you must get yourself ready for it. Go and get the proper mindset training and learn how to market. You also must be ready and willing to do whatever it takes to get success-ethically of course.

If you're not willing to commit to your own success, you may as well get out of business now and stop wasting your precious time and money. It's your decision and you must decide. Just don't let another unsuccessful year pass you by in your network marketing business.

There is a Better way to Advertise !

If you need to sell something, then you need customers.
And getting customers isnt always easy. In real life, it might be easier, because they are walking into your store or because they saw it driving by, or walking by if its in the mall. But if you want massive traffic you need to advertise. Like McDonalds, the food is nasty, -just my opinion- but people still go there way to often. That is the power of advertising.

That brings us to the internet, oohh how its changed. I've been asked many times how to get more traffic, I say to advertise more, or simply buy hits to your website. The later works for traffic, but they are not prospects. Consider this, much of that paid traffic is someone who gets redirected to your site from an abandoned URL. Thats like you walking into Star Bucks for a $5.00 coffee and then, BLAHM you end up in Big O Tires with some guy trying to sell you a set of BFG's for $1000. This happens everyday and millions of times on the internet.

Why am I telling you this, because if you have an online business and want to sell your product, no matter how superior it is, you need Quality traffic. Therefore do not waste money on buying stale leads, or getting caught up in the wrong advertising. I will show you a way of getting 100% FREE traffic for any business. Thats right, unlimited quality, targeted traffic. Think I'm crazy, I'm not, just a little, maybe. But the point is, that this works for all home business' or even better, online businesses. So, are you asking me how yet? I can't tell just yet.

The internet is full of losers, kinda like Vegas. And well these losers are trying to play with the big boys who earn $100,000 a month selling whatever. And taking the losers money. Look on EBay, there are so many people who spend more than they make buying stuff they dont need. I just sold an empty 26oz liqueur bottle last week for $5.00 plus $12.75 shipping. I spent $23.45 to buy it full of booze. True story! Don't be like them, save your money for real investment opportunities. Remember, anything worth having takes effort, so beware of the $100,000 a month AUTO, make money mumbo jumbo you see online.

There are real business opportunities online, but none of them pay these absurd incomes. Some will make you $18,000 - $30,000. For real, but it is a full time job. That might scare you away, but think about it.
How many of us work full time, and get nothing like that for a wage. Maybe you should try one out. It has worked miracles for my online business, and I'm sure it will do wonders for yours.

Business Opportunity Leads-Why More People Are Using This System to Create Them

Leads, leads, leads! Can you imagine never having to choose between real-time leads and phone verified leads ever again? Can you imagine getting your advertising costs covered? Can you wrap your brain around the idea of having prospects paying you to prospect them?

This is not some wishful ideology or crazy thinking. This is the reality of those who choose to use funded proposals in their business.

When you buy leads from a lead vendor, you don't know how their leads are created. Are they incentivized? In other words, were they offered a bribe to fill out a form to get more info on working from home?

Take into consideration that you are paying on average $2-$5 bucks per lead and you don't even know how they were even created. Some of the lead capture pages these lead vendors use are so generic and a bit misleading that it attracts job seekers as well as those interested in a home business.

Haven't you wondered why you get a lot of job seekers when you call your leads? It's not some sick twist of fate. More often than not, your lead provider is pulling in these kinds of people from their advertising and you're paying for it.

If you are building your business buying leads, you may find it difficult to stay afloat in your business. Unless you quickly get good at prospecting from leads, you will outspend what profits you do manage to bring in.

This is why more and more people are using funded proposals in their business. It can help you not only fund your marketing expenses, but it also creates leads for your primary opportunity. These will become your exclusive leads.

A funded proposal consists of generic training materials (marketing tools, training, and systems) that your prospects want. These informational training products will bring you the retail profits you need to fund your advertising.

Once someone has bought from you, you are more than likely to buy from you again and even join you in your business if they're looking for an opportunity.

If you are sick of spending money on leads and not seeing a return, you may want to look into adding a funded proposal system into your business so you can at least make a retail profit upfront to fund your business.

You have nothing to lose and will attract more people to you by leading with a system rather than chasing people with an mlm application in hand.

MLM Training - Who Needs It?

Would you ever give a nine year old the keys to the car and send them to go pick up their younger sibling from school? Of course not, there are some things in life that are just unheard of. Unfortunately in business, especially in Network Marketing, people are sent out to "drive their business vehicle before they have come of age."

Network marketers, both novice and expert, should not be sent out to acquire customers and recruit a downline without the proper mlm training. It should be illegal! The most successful people in business usually have received some type of training or have a mentor that helps them along the way.

Many a new recruit and even some so called veterans are walking around blindfolded trying to acquire customers and recruit downline distributors. Needless to say, this group is usually not the successful bunch.

Where Can You Get Proper Training?

The first place to look for training is within your own parent company. Your company should have some company-wide training events on a regular basis. Unfortunately, these events are sometimes filled with more hype than anything but you can usually extract some pertinent information for your success.

Also, someone within your upline should be able to give you some basic training to get started. The best place to learn is directly from someone who is successful, someone who can be a mentor. If you can find a mentor in your own company then by all means take advantage of the situation. But don't shut out other network marketing experts in other industries. Some of the best that I know of are Tim Sales and Kim Klaver. No matter who you follow make sure they are down to earth and that they tell it like it is rather than try and paint a cute and fuzzy picture. Fluff will not get you anywhere whereas focused hard work and walking down a proven path will.

Proper MLM Training

Any training you receive should teach you how to find both people to recruit and to acquire as customers. Many network marketers get stuck in the "warm market" rut. They only contact there family and friends. No matter how sociable you are, this pool is limited. Expand your horizons and use other methods of finding people like traditional marketing methods, passing out flyers and business cards, and most importantly asking for referrals.

You should also learn how to approach people the right way and how to pique their interest properly. After the initial approach you want to know how to ask the right questions and to funnel people through a system to know who is sincerely interested and who isn't. Not many things are more annoying than a network marketer constantly bugging you even though you have told them you are not interested. Learn when to move on to the next person and to let others go.

Internet Business - The ABC's Of Affiliate Marketing

Do you understand affiliate marketing? Many internet business owners do and many more join programs as an affiliate and never make any money. They would have to be classified as people who do not understand what it is. Let's run through the ABC's of affiliate marketing and what you must have to make money doing it.

Affiliate marketing is a way for merchants to sell their products. As an affiliate you get paid to sell stuff for them. Mostly it is done online, but you could use the internet to complement your offline sales as well.

The products that are sold include advertising clicks, leads, physical products, information products, services, memberships, and almost anything a person would want to buy. Companies will let you sign up as an affiliate to sell their products. When you make a sale you earn a commission. It could be a set rate or a percentage as explained in the affiliate agreement.

We are talking about being able to make some serious money. There are people who earn 6 figure income and quit their jobs just by selling other people's products. This can be done via a blog, email marketing, your website, newsletters, business cards, classified and solo ads, and so on. Driving traffic to a blog or website is the most common.

One problem many people make is they use the company provided replicated website and try to make sales using it. The problem with that is your site looks just like several thousand other affiliates. It is to your advantage to get your own website or blog and use it whenever you can.

Many times a person decides to become an affiliate, but they do not know what to sell. This is understandable as there are millions of products to choose from. My advice is to start with a product or niche market that you enjoy or know something about.

The most successful affiliates brand themselves as experts on what they sell. You can do that too and it is going to be easier to become and expert on something you already are familiar with. Along those same lines the best affiliate marketers own the products they sell. Think how much more convincing it is to sell something you can give a first hand testimonial on.

Here is another basic step that many affiliate miss. Get your own domain name. Many affiliate urls are long and bulky and do not look professional. You can buy a domain name for one year for about $10.

When you pick a domain name, try and get some of the keywords your product is about in the name. If you are selling baseball bats choose something like best-baseball-bats-around or something like that. The dot com version of a domain name is still the best way to go if you can, but if you want a certain word and it is available in dot net, dot biz, or others then go ahead and buy it.

Hosting for your website or blog is the next step in getting ready to make money as an affiliate. This is not an area to save a few pennies. Your income depends on your website being live and ready when someone wants to see it. Hosting that is down a lot is bad for your business. Take your time and get a few references here. Do it right one time and your business will thank you later.

Do you know how to build a website? Most people do not and for that reason you may want to hire someone to do it for you. Another popular thing is to start a blog and use it as your website. This is great because they are easy to set up and all you have to do is be able to type and click on buttons to create a web page with your blog post. Blogger.com can be hosted by Google for you, or a good platform kike WordPress can be hosted by you and set up for less than $50 by a quality blog builder.

Getting traffic to your site is the last step and you will want to research as many free or nearly free advertising methods you can. This would include blogging, article writing, social networking, and others.

This is the ABC's of affiliate marketing. It will take some time to put what you learn into practice, but the key is to get started and learn as you go.

Cost of Finding Financial Freedom

How is your quest for finding financial freedom going. Do you have a vision for your future that takes away the pressures of having money that is put on our society? Do you envision yourself not going to work everyday at some dead end job? Do you see yourself among wealthy individuals and having the time freedom to do what you want when you want to do it?

If your answer is yes to the above questions then it's time to take action. Put yourself in the drivers seat of your life, and quit conforming to the rules of society. It is time to start a small home based business and take over the reins of your life.

It's time to put your spare time to good use, and the television is not going to aid your life in anyway. You need to quit whining about what a raw deal you have been dealt in life and move forward towards your future by finding financial freedom.

So now you want to know about the cost of starting a home based business. Well there is a cost to start a business. What do you know that is free in life. Not much worth having is free.

So lets look at what is involved in the cost of starting a home based business. Well there is setting up of your home office and getting anything you may need. Then there is the price to join a business, and the price of buying the product or service that is involved. You also need some money to advertise your business, because without advertising your business will not be successful.

Realistically to start a small home based business and set yourself up to be successful you will need between one thousand and two thousand dollars. This is only a drop in the bucket compared to what starting a conventional store front business would cost. You still get all the perks of being a business owner but at a fraction of the cost.

You may even have to make a point of saving your money until you have enough of a nest egg to afford to start a small home based business. But this is not a stupid goal. If you start brown bagging lunch and giving up that Starbucks coffee, you will have enough money saved in no time to start a small home based business and be on your way to your vision of finding financial freedom.

Faye Brown is an home business entrepreneur who helps people reach their goals in their quest for financial and time freedom. Her goal is to coach people into full time home business entrepreneurs.

MLM Sponsoring Strategy: Make a List and Pursue Warm Market Referrals

If someone asked me for the "main" topics network marketers have trouble agreeing on, recruiting strategy would be near the top of the list. Certain companies have predominant styles, but there's always that "renegade" team that breaks out and does something unique.

I've learned a lot since becoming a professional network marketer, but especially so on the subject of recruiting. I've studied various company teachings, the teachings of field leaders like Brig Hart, and network marketing trainers like Todd Falcone, Ellie Drake, and Tracy Biller. I've even had the pleasure of working with and learning from Ann Sieg on her personal team.

Rather than try and cram everything into one huge article, I thought it made more sense to break it up into several posts. So, this is the first in a small series about the various MLM recruiting strategies I've discovered.

It's only fitting that I begin the series with the one we've all (and I do mean ALL) been exposed to. Perhaps it's because this strategy was invented by the very first network marketers, or perhaps it's because it's perceived to be the easiest for "everyone" to practice... whatever the reason, the most popular MLM sponsoring strategy by far is to...

Make a List

Your company may provide a brainstorming tool, usually a list of "brain joggers" that help you recall all of the people you know. Or, perhaps your sponsor just walks you through the yellow pages over the phone.

"Who do you know who's an Auto Mechanic, Anesthesiologist, Baby Sitter, Baker, Caterer, Chef, ..."

Regardless of the method, at the end of this excercise the average person has a list of fifteen to fifty names. In network marketing parlance, this is your "warm market" list. In theory, these are the people you have the most influence over, and should therefore approach about your product and/or opportunity.

Pros and Cons

Every strategy has benefits and drawbacks, and warm market sponsoring is no different. The primary benefit is: it works for everyone. Everyone has friends and family, and those people have friends and family, etc. With proper support by your sponsor, getting started in the business is pretty painless.

This strategy is fun, and keeps your team close-knit. People love to have (and go to) parties, and parties are the usual method used in this approach to recruiting. Everyone you sponsor will, ultimately, be a friend of a friend. This makes company trips and vacations all the more fun (or not, depending on your friends' friends.)

If you are respected and admired by the people on your list, your opinion will carry a lot of weight and you'll have no problem bringing people onto your team. In fact, well respected people can often call the names on their list and say something like, "Give me your credit card and social security number... we're going into business together."

This approach does not work for everyone, though. If you're young, and find it hard to get respect from your peers and elders, they are less likely to take you seriously when you tell them you've found "the opportunity of a lifetime." My best advice here is to lean on your upline--use their credibility until you can build your own. While your older brother might not listen to you, he will find it harder to disregard your well-seasoned upline who's making $10k per week in the business.

Another drawback to this strategy is that it can stall easily. If a particular person's warm market yields little to no referrals, that part of the network can stall. Unlike those using a cold market lead strategy, or self-generating qualified leads, there will be no new people to talk to unless someone puts on their thinking cap. It will take a little creativity to kick-start that team and get them duplicating again.

Keys to Success

The key to building with this strategy is to efficiently move from one warm market to the next. Each time you sponsor someone, immediately begin helping them work their warm market. It's important to teach the right behaviors in the beginning--hold each of your new partners' hand as they begin their business, and make sure they do the same with the people they sponsor. This strategy falls apart without good upline support.

For example, when you sponsor someone into the business, YOU need to help them organize and host their first few home parties, or help them with 3-way calls. One way or the other, you CANNOT leave them to "figure it out" themselves. They are new to the business and have little credibility, they won't know how to close, and they won't pay attention to duplication. As their sponsor, though, you can talk to their warm market confidently and with authority. In time, they will be helping their downline as you helped them.

Reverse the Negative Connotation of Network Marketing

The Internet is comprised of hundreds of millions of websites. Every owner of every website would love to be able to generate money from that site. It is no secret that a large percentage of the human population would result to less than honorable tactics to get the money out of your pockets. This fact has created a negative connotation associated with Internet Marketing aka MLM, Network Marketing, etc.

People have become wary and suspicious of Internet marketers. There are a lot of scams out there in cyberspace. Many people have been taken by them. However, there are still literally millions of honest online marketers with great levels of integrity. So how do you go about alleviating the suspicion that you will encounter in your marketing endeavors? Here are some helpful tips:

1 You have to be diligent. You have to assume that you are going to encounter this suspicion. You have to know that your intentions are honest and you have to present that to your potential consumers. You have to be laser-focused on success. You have to directly face the fact that you will encounter resistance from time to time, and you have to overcome that through the application of sound business practices based on truthfulness and reliability.

2 Network Marketing programs are a dime a dozen. You have to do your research before signing up to be a part of one. You need to get to know your sponsor in these programs before getting too involved. You need to be able to trust him or her to guide you in straightforward business endeavors. When you associate your name with anything on the Internet, you are creating a permanent record. Establish your Internet presence with an underlying philosophy of sound principles.

3 It is your responsibility to do the research necessary to understand not only your sponsor, but what will be required of you to recognize your desired levels of success. Nobody can do it for you. You want to establish yourself on the Internet as an honest businessperson so that you can generate perpetual passive wealth. This does not happen without education. The reason that over 98% of all Internet business endeavors fail miserably within the first year is that people go into them without sufficient knowledge. Do your research!

It is still possible to be very successful in Network Marketing. You just have to make sure that you take the necessary steps to establish yourself as an expert with deeply-ingrained integrity.

InterNetwork Marketing: Four Reasons to Take Your MLM Business Online Now

If you want your network marketing business to succeed in today's world, you have to learn how to use the internet. For most people that means sending emails and referring prospective customers to their MLM company's generic website. That is a recipe for a stagnant business that goes nowhere. InterNetwork Marketing, on the other hand, is a dynamic method of applying powerful marketing principles to your unique online presence.

As a practical concept, InterNetwork Marketing was first developed by two separate people, each one a giant in their respective field. One is a network marketing expert known as "Renegade Ann". The other is an internet guru named Dr. Ken Evoy. Together they have joined forces to teach "the little guy" (and the little gal) how to succeed in network marketing by integrating the powerful reach of the internet with proven and measurable marketing principles.

This may sound technical and cold but I assure you it is not. What Ann Sieg understands is that in order to build a strong downline in your network marketing business you need to create a warm inviting environment where your audience is captivated and motivated. What Ken Evoy understands is how to create an online business that brings interested and pre-sold prospects to your unique website. What Ann and Ken understand together is that InterNetwork Marketing is a practical way to generate highly qualified leads for your network marketing business and earn an income at the same time.

In December 2007 Ann and Ken did a series of free webinars where they provided valuable information, tools, resources, and steps to budget, plan and implement a successful website for your unique MLM business. Although they provided hours of great tips and steps to move your MLM into the online marketing world, I have found that the average home based business owner is too overwhelmed with the idea of "going online". So I am going to share with you four of the essential reasons why you should be taking steps today to get your network marketing business online.

1. Brand of One: Branding is a term used in the marketing world and is something everyone seeks to do with their business. By creating a unique website about YOU, your expertise, and your experiences, you are creating your "Brand of One". From a practical standpoint, your business revolves around you, not your products, not the company you work with as an "independent associate", but you as a brand of one and the information you provide. Whether you are promoting health care products, legal services, or discount memberships, as a website owner you are an educator, a consultant, and a solutions provider. Who you are counts and people will choose to do business with you more because of who you are rather than what you are selling. Your "warm market" is created simply by getting your genuine message and information on the internet for those highly motivated people doing searches right now for solutions to their problems.

2. Quality Content: Think about how you do searches on the internet. You are looking for information or a product because you have a problem that needs solving. As a website provider you are delivering expert information about how your MLM products or business opportunities solve problems. For instance, if you are like many network marketers who fell in love with their MLM company after the products solved their particular health condition, you can write an entire website about your experience. There are probably tens of thousands of people with the same health problem looking for an answer right this very moment. All you are doing is providing information on your website that you have researched or experienced yourself. A well structured content or theme based website on a topic of interest provides the platform upon which your business can thrive.

3. Trust based relationship: Guys may not like to use the term "relationship", but that's exactly what searchers online are looking for. When you have a decision to make, do you look up a topic in the dictionary or encyclopedia and base your next move on what you read there? No. We are human beings after all. We look for credible human sources that have expertise and ideally first hand knowledge about the problem we have. Not only can we relate to someone who has a shared experience, but with a website there is always a "Contact Me" form or email address provided so that questions can be answered and a trusting relationship developed. The amazing thing is that on the internet this can happen in a matter of minutes, months, or years. It doesn't matter because your website continues to build these trusting relationships 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You only respond to people when they approach you. By then they are indeed a very "warm" lead!

4. Proven System: Make no mistake, Ken Evoy and Ann Sieg know that to be successful in any business you need a system to follow and a method to capitalize on the learning (especially the mistakes and successes) of those that have come before you. Up until now, the MLM industry has relied on the method of calling people to introduce products or business opportunities. With over 145 million people registered on the Federal Trade Commission's Do-Not-Call List (as of September, 2007), do you really think this is an effective marketing method? These people are not only saying I do not want to be solicited over the phone, but they have taken active steps to prevent you from bothering them. It is time to honor those wishes and use an efficient system that will allow people to come to you. The system is InterNetwork Marketing and the proof is in the success it is bringing to network marketers all over the world.

Ann Sieg's Renegade Network Marketer is a system that many people are using to take control of their businesses, whether online, offline, service or retail. The system has information of value to anyone looking to start, expand or improve their network marketing business. Ken Evoy's Sitesell, Inc., has a system which makes it possible for anyone to develop a content-based website to draw traffic, presell visitors, and provide methods of monetization.

InterNetwork Marketing is here to stay. The quality of your efforts will dictate the quantity of your results. My advice is to align yourself with people who have a track record and the results to prove it. It may be the most important decision you ever make.

Energy Deregulation Home-Based Business Boom

The most recent "big boom" in home-based business opportunities is the business of energy deregulation. Many entrepreneurs throughout the United States are investing in some form of energy deregulation business. More U.S. states are in the process of deregulating energy every year and creating a home-based opportunity for even more independent businesses to start.

Energy deregulation is the process by which governments remove, reduce or simplify restrictions on home-based business and individuals. The intent of deregulation is to encourage the efficient operation of markets. Energy deregulation opens the energy market for ambitious entrepreneurs who want to break into the multi-billion dollar energy market.

Businesses created via energy deregulation will save consumers millions of dollars per year. Entrepreneurs will ultimately charge less than big mainstream companies, yet still make a hefty profit. This helps make energy more affordable to the masses. Entrepreneurs looking for that perfect supply and demand home-based business opportunity understand what it takes to be successful.

Whether you sell and support electricity or natural gas depends highly on the area in which you live and set up your home-based business. More rural areas that don't support natural gas would depend primarily on electricity for their energy needs. Cities and suburban areas may offer both electricity and natural gas.

If you are in the market for a home-based business and would like to become an independent agent, beware of cons and scams. Just like any other home-based business opportunity, you run the risk of scam artists trying to take unfair advantage of people looking for home-based business opportunities. Always do your research to be sure you're investing in something legitimate.

Energy Deregulation: Good or Bad?

There are those who argue that deregulation will cause a total economic breakdown as well as a breakdown of efficient energy supply. They believe the deregulation of energy will allow dishonest entrepreneurs looking to make a quick buck the opportunity to scam customers. They say that allowing entrepreneurs to develop home-based business opportunities to sell electric services or natural gas services will allow the use of a wide variety of loopholes that the business or customers will take advantage of abusing.

On the other side of the fence, there are those who say deregulation will open doors for a new revolution in energy. They look forward to more competitive prices that will ultimately force big companies to charge less for one of life's biggest necessities. These optimists believe the deregulation will unleash new products with greater energy efficiency.

They also believe it will open the doors for more business synergies, new industries, new entrepreneurs and more local jobs. This group of people looks forward to new entrepreneurial success stories, lower energy prices and new technology.

Energy deregulation as a home-based business opens doors to entrepreneurs who are serious about changing the world. Not only will these entrepreneurs help change the face of energy, they will change the impact energy use has on the environment. If you're in the process of looking for a home-based business with potentially rich rewards, this may be an opportunity worth your time and money to investigate.

Renegade University - 5 Things You Need To Overcome To Succeed In MLM

One of the toughest hurdles for renegade network marketers to negotiate is getting started. It's a very real problem.

Finding a step-by-step system is the obvious answer but while there are many gurus willing to help, not too many lay out the entire process from start to finish in easy to follow steps.

You generally just get advice on one area but most times, it's a case of "putting the cart before the horse."

One of the biggest faults people have in any venture online and offline is falling into that syndrome called analysis paralysis. It's crippling to those craving any type of success.

This comes about through information overload - getting lots of information from different sources all suggesting what you should and need to do. As a new player to online marketing, all this does is confuses you and hence you over analyze which then leads to a state of paralysis.

Most people know why they want to be financially free yet even when a system is laid out in front of them they still struggle to get off the starting blocks. In a recent survey conducted in finding out what potential online marketers considered was their biggest stumbling block in becoming successful, the majority responded being shown how as their major desire.

Renegade University

There is a big fear factor when people are confronted with a new concept. The recent publicity surrounding the death of old network marketing lead generation methods caused quite a stir within the industry. People were exposed to the 7 great lies of network marketing and many resonated with it.

There is some merit in a Renegade University concept where raw internet marketers can go and get the type of training which they can implement within their MLM business and get into cash flow as quickly as possible.

Lack of cash flow is the biggest killer for network marketers and the main reason they drop out of their opportunity within the first three months.

So what are the major stumbling blocks in getting your inter-network marketing business off the ground? Here are the top five:

1. Lack of knowledge. Not knowing enough about the concept of using internet marketing as a leverage to build an MLM business.

2. Lack of skills. Many MLMers are being confronted with the concept on marketing online for the first time and really have no skills in this area.

3. No websites. We're not just talking about company generated sites which are restrictive and all look the same. We're talking about having your own website with which you can brand yourself with.

4. Doing business like everyone else. Success comes when you can add a slight twist to what's already successful. Create a system within a system.

5. Having a step-by-step system to follow. Being able to go to a credible training ground and get hold-you-by-the-hand training with a series of activity steps to follow.

Network Marketing Affiliate Products

If you're new to network marketing, I'm sure you're asking yourself what in the heck is network marketing affiliate products?

Network marketing affiliate products are products that you can market (sell) to your prospects or to your existing downline members.

The products should offer some value to the recipients; something that educates them and in turn makes them a more valuable prospect worth having in your downline.

When it comes to network marketing affiliate products, four top names come to mind: Joe Schroeder, Mike Dillard, Daegan Smith, and Ann Sieg.

Joe Schroeder is considered the "daddy" of the bunch because he was the first to use the "funded proposal" system, way back in the mid 1990s.

He went from being a relative unknown to the covers of over four home business magazines. He was heralded and was one of the first network marketers to incorporate the Internet into his business.

His products include the Warriors Nest and Spellbound, among several other products. His products heavily emphasize personal development. Joe Schroeder is still active in the network marketing industry; he offers group coaching for those in his inner circle.
Joe Schroeder is definitely in a league all his own.

This brings us to Mike Dillard who happened to be mentored by Joe Schroeder himself. Mike Dillard became a millionaire using the principals set forth in the funded proposal system while still in his mid-twenties.

His network marketing affiliate products consists of a home study manual called Magnetic Sponsoring and the much more advanced course, MLM Traffic Formula.
Magnetic Sponsoring consists of making yourself attractive to others so they are pursuing you, rather than you pursuing them. The whole premise of Magnetic Sponsoring is attraction marketing.

This course definitely put the funded proposal concept on the map and made Mike Dillard a network marketing icon. Joe Schroeder's "star" pupil has done very well for himself.

Next is Daegan Smith. Like Mike Dillard, Daegan had his network marketing eureka moment while still in his mid-twenties. His main product is his Internet Power Prospecting System.

This system has built-in funded proposals; you can earn residual commission with the system itself.

Ann Sieg is the "baby" of the bunch with her unleashing of her Renegade Network Marketer system in mid 2007.

Ann Sieg's Renegade system caused quite a stir when it was released due to her controversial 7 Great Lies e-book. Her products consist of two e-books and the Renegade system itself. The Renegade system is also an affiliate product too.

If you're looking for network marketing affiliate products that educate your prospects and your downline while earning you a nice check, then you don't have to look any further than Joe Schroeder, Mike Dillard, Daegan Smith, or Ann Sieg.

Thanks to them, network marketing is gaining legitimacy as a real business model that tries to educate rather than shove business opportunities down people's throats.

Inter-Network Marketing - How To Create Easy Cash In Your MLM Business!

Succeeding in network marketing today comes down to having more than three choices to generate cash flow. They are building your primary business with a large downline; selling products for profit or a combination of the two.

That was with the old network marketing business model. Now there is a fourth choice and it's one which has been long overdue.

The Power Of The Internet

The Renegade Network Marketer was all about creating cash flow on the front end of your MLM business. There is a strong shift in MLM today towards using the far reaching benefits of the internet.

In effect, network marketers are now seeing the wisdom of becoming affiliate marketers and hence the fourth option to create cash flow within their business. In fact, the new marriage is being called inter-network marketing.

Lack Of Knowledge

There is a strong learning curve for networkers in adopting online strategies in their business. Because of this, many will resist the move online but this will be to the detriment of their business building efforts.

So what does the online model involve and how can you market and promote your business on the web. Here are some examples:

1. Having your own personal website or blog is an important first step because it allows you to brand yourself.

2. Targeted traffic generation.

3. Using article marketing as a means of driving traffic.

4. Creating traffic flow with multi media. Videos are becoming a powerful strategy as they not only help brand you as an expert but it's taking advantage of the surge in people wanting to see videos online.

5. Using Web 2.0 to leverage traffic generation.

6. Pay-per-click is not free traffic generation but it's targeted visitors and that's what you want in MLM.

Attraction Marketing

The beauty of inter-network marketing online means you can capture prospect's contact details via opt in methods. Building a list to build a relationship is vital in attracting them into your primary business.

As you start the relationship stage, giving them value in the form of personal training and coaching plus feeding them valuable information via reports is part of the pre-selling process.

When pre-selling is done right, by the time your prospect is ready to hear about your primary business their minds will already be made up. That is, it won't matter how good your sales pitch is because of what's taken place before.

It's the way of inter-network marketing but the truth is, it's not new and MLMers are discovering in droves the advantages of moving their marketing and promotion online.

Starting a Home Based Business and Setting Goals!

Thinking about starting a home-based business? Many of us dream of starting our own home-based business each of us having a different reasons why we want to start our home-based business. Our reasons could be anything from being dissatisfied with your current employer, the good old fashion staying home with the children, you may have an elderly parent that is needing your attention at home, or you may need to supplement your current income with a home-based business.

Since you are reading this article you must be serious about creating a steady income and you are know wondering how to go about doing this with so many choices available today. Or you may be reading this article in hopes of finding that home-based business idea that works for you and your life style.

In order to get started with any home-based business you need to start by developing a business plan. Once this step is complete and you move forward with your decision your home-based business will be very successful. This will also provide you with a steady stream of income, all from the comfort of your home. There are a number of home-based business opportunities for those who wish to work from home; some go as far as to promise millions of dollars and un limited success just for signing up. Beware of these opportunities because we all know that to reach success in anything we do requires time, effort, marketing, and dedication. The amount of work (time, effort, marketing and dedication) you are willing to spend on your home-based business will show in the profits at the end of each month.

I can not stress enough how important it is to plan each step when starting a home-based business; setting those short-term and long-term goals and have a plan of action set as to how you are going to achieve these goals. Make sure to include a monthly marketing budget into these goals.

Most home-based business opportunities require a small start up fee however there are some free opportunities available you can also check into free affiliate programs. Take a good look at the opportunities available so that once you make your decision you can focus on that particular opportunity.

Earning a serious income from home with a home-based business is possible, but you will have to stay committed to your business plan and follow it closely. Remember this business is located in your home and you are the owner so no one will be checking on you daily to see what was accomplished; this is your responsibility to be honest with yourself. It takes self-discipline to plan your business and your motivation will help turn your ideas into steady cash.

Do not make your decision based on doubt and lack of confidence; if you are postive a home-based business is what you need to make your life less hectic and are truly ready to take the next step towards making your dreams a reality, then develop your plan and go for it. Informed logical decisions are important and will give your home-based business the time and energy it takes to build a steady income. Distinguish yourself from the competition and you will be on your way to financial independence.

The feeling of being overwhelmed is common to any one starting a home-based business or the feeling of getting nowhere fast. Just remember many of us have also experienced the same feelings but we remained patient, disciplined, and gave our business good old-fashioned hard work in order to see our results pay off at the end of each month. Remember to never give up! Results need time; the normal turn around time for any business is one year.

As long as you have the motivation and discipline it takes, you can operate your own successful home-based business, generate the income you need, and enjoy the freedom of being your own boss.

To your success!

Marketing Plans - Keys To A Successful Budget Friendly Campaign

For some business owners the words Marketing and Advertising brings nightmares. The thought of spending time on Marketing Plans may seem boring and uninspiring, however this is the life blood of your business. So for those just starting its important that this be your main task.

Here's the truth about your new business. If nobody knows that you're in business but your immediate friends and family then you're headed down a road of stagnation. Nothing is worse than stagnation in a Work From Home business.

Marketing Plans Made Easy.

Most of us don't want to think about marketing because we don't want to spend the money that we have not made from our initial investment. Well, the truth is the initial investment is just that, the initial investment. This however does not mean that your Marketing budget has to hurt.

So back to the plan. What you want to consider while crafting your Marketing Plan to keep it simple (KIS) are, your goals, how to get the message out, budget, and Time spent on one method versus another.

Goals.

For your goals, consider what you expect to accomplish with your chosen campaign. This should be very simple. Either exposure or sales. Exposure is always a good way to start.

How to get message out (Low Cost Marketing).

There are many cost effective ways to get your message out without breaking the bank. I will share a few with you. The great thing here is that once you see this list it will get your juices flowing to come up with more yourself.

Unsold space near press time is a great way to get a good deal on inexpensive advertising. This is called remnant space. They are available for publications as well as radio and TV.

Overnight Radio. How does $10 per minute sound? Sounds like music to me. Of course there will be much less of an audience but it can still be very effective.

Newspaper. By cutting down your ads and having a catchy headline you can save money. Same thing for Classifieds. By placing your ad in the right place you will get more targeted traffic.

Yellow Pages. Did you know that first advertisers get as much as 40% off? Check with placing the ads in the online version.

Publicity. For this you will need a great press kit. One press kit can give you a lot of free press. So one cost can bring great amounts of exposure. You will however have to convince the newspaper or whomever that your company is news worthy.

Contest and Give-Aways. A great way to get your company in the public eye is to have a contest. For example, if you're a travel agent you can give away vacations for referrals.

Testimonials. Always get stories from your satisfied customers.

Flyers. 5000 flyer for 100 dollars is a good deal. With flyers you must make sure that the placement of these flyers are in places where your product or service is needed/wanted. Advertising for a tanning bed on Sunset Strip may not be the place.

Coupons and Samples. Giving your services away for discounted prices is a great addition to your Marketing Plan.

Online advertising. If your business is online you would be remiss of you not to use all of the internet marketing strategies available. In today's market a website is a must for any business.

Budget.

The Small Business Administration suggest that at least five percent of gross sales should go into your Marketing Plan and advertising strategy.

Timeline.

This is probably the most import part of your plan. Once you have worked out a Marketing Plan think of a time line to gauge your results. You want to know the results of all campaigns. This will allow you to know how effective it was. Then move on to the next in your strategy. I would suggest only doing one or two at a time. Once you find one that gives you the maximum results then its time for "All Out Massive Action."

With a little planning your Marketing Plan no longer needs to be a chore. Better yet its discovery time for you and your business. If taken serious this can be your ticket to a successful business.

Daily Income Are Soaring, Why Work?

How many people have seen ads like this one?
I've seen so many, I just had to click on this one.

Serious Home Business Opportunity,
Top Producer Mentoring, not MLM

The best I can recall this is the ad that I saw on the internet while just mindlessly wasting time. After going to the site it occured to me that all this time was not wasted, because by just simply knowing how to copy/paste and other simple internet functions, was all that I needed to do this. With so many people on the internet claiming outrageous incomes, someone had to be telling the truth.

So how do you decide who is lying and who is not????
Your guess is as good as mine, but here is a hint, I found one that posts everyones phone numbers, including the owners. "So honest the owners work the phone-in help lines" Thats what they claimed. So I had to phone the numbers. Now the exactness of the conversation, I cannot remember but I can tell you that they were genuine and really seemed to care about me succeeding.

So after talking it over with my wife, and knowing the fact that I waste money everyday on alcohol and tobacco and golf and so on. I thought why not quit all of that for one month, use that money to TRY and change my life, and earn one of these outrageous part time internet salaries. So. . . here it goes!

I paid my sponsor of this site $397 plus $49.95 a month membership fees, plus $250 in the first week on advertising. WOW am I excited, "here goes nothing!" I remember saying outloud. So to get started marketing online with this company they suggested training.

So I attended a couple of the LIVE training classes, phoned my sponsor a few times. Each time he helped point me in the right direction, he laughed at my jokes, spent much much more time with me chatting than expected. So now I'm really excited, my life is going to change, once those visitors start coming to my website. -Which was provided by the company free of charge-

A couple days later, my first visitor. Oh boy, what do I do. This person has just given me his phone number, email, full name, and begging me to contact him. And a few days later I have 7 people in my downline, all their info. right there. I can just feel my life changing, I'm going to be financially free.... oh what, I have to close the sales?? How do I do that, I dont know how to do that, this wasnt part of the deal, I was pissed. But my wife reminded me, that the online training might help, after all there are approx. 50 hours of recorded training, plus 5 or so hours of live training a week.

Week three.
I still have not made a dime. I have spent a whopping total of $2000 on advertising and my member dues. I need to pull the plug and accept the fact that I'm going to work on monday morning, I'm not going golfing, drinking booze, or anything for 2 months. To pay for this lesson I thought myself. Just for the heck of it I phoned the owner one last time to let him know I was unhappy and shame on me, because I knew that online money making schemes just dont work. I told him how much money I had spent. He interupted me and said, "oh man, this is going to explode if you put that much money into the places you said, you just have to remember, most of these websites take time to process the information. Trust me, this will take off like a snowball, and fast, dont spend anymore money advertising, just stick to the free stuff for a week, you will see that all these paid for advertisements will kick in at the same time."

Was he right? Lets just say that I am a true believer now that this company is different!

They had laid everything out, all I did was follow the steps, one by one.
My phone is ringing 2-3 times a day with people wanting to join my team, I am so glad I sacrificed -for the better of my health as well- no alcohol or tobacco for short while, because that small sacrifice did indeed change my life.

P.S. This works, I am proof and so are thousands of others. A small sacrifice changed my life. I hope you are willing to move forward in life as well.

Rick is father of two and is passionate about life and to help change the lives of others.

Global Resorts Network- Choosing The Right Sponsor Can Insure Your Success In Network Marketing

Choosing a sponsor is one of the most important ingredients for success in a home business or network marketing opportunity, in my opinion. I would say begins with your experience, your desires or outcomes you are seeking, what kind of support you need, and effort you are willing to put out. I also will say that if you ask for the things below you need to commit to your sponsor and yourself that you will do whatever it takes to succeed!

I was fortunate to find the right person as my sponsor. Since that day, only a short period of time ago- we have become very good friends and business partners in the strongest sense. I have other partners in my network that I am having the same kind of relationship with. Remember- you will be working with these people- so take some time to get to know their value system before you join with anyone.

Here are a few questions I would ask prospective sponsors:
* Do you have a written plan that I should follow the first 30-60 days?
*Do I have to pay for a back office?
*Will I get a tailor made website that is made for me with my own picture, email address and phone number?
*Are there webinars and conference calls with real substance that I can bring my prospects to for both the business opportunity calls and the retail membership product?
*Are you available to help me with three way calls with my prospects while I am still learning to help me bring prospects into the business?
*Does your group provide a means to help me do a written business and life plan to help me succeed?
*Is there real, tangible sales training available for those that need it?
*If I am on a limited budget- how exactly would I be able to succeed in this business?
*A strong sponsor should be able to be a strong mentor-so it might be good to ask them about their other business experience, as well.

Finally, with the right sponsor you will be spending time with the person. If they are not asking you about your goals and dreams, or willing to get to know you as a person and what is important in your life, and willing to have a discussion about value systems and how they support their team- I would not join with them, personally. As a sponsor I will be investing my time to help my network partners be successful, and I have found it is much more comfortable when I get to know them as a person prior to beginning any relationship.

These are just a few of the questions that come to mind. In my own interview process I found there were few that could address the questions above.

I hope this helps you!

I will also say this. Any program comparisons extend beyond just the product. There is no question that one has to exert their own effort to succeed. There is also no question a great sponsor, great support, and the right philosophy can assist one in being successful.

Here is the acid test. Ask all the questions above of your sponsor, and go in depth about the product. If they can answer those questions and actually have knowledge of their product also, you will find yourself in a much better place than if you did not!

To your success!

Finding A Top Network Marketing Team

Small companies want to join the new marketing network but are unsure of how to do so. Other businesses would like to expand their marketing ventures but need some help in doing so. An answer to both problems would be for them to subscribe to a network marketing journal. The down side of this is that just about anyone can open a web site, write some articles and call himself an expert. These fraudulent journals spread fraudulent information and cause severe problems.

It is very expensive to publish and print journals. The good thing about printed journals is that they usually are not fraudulent. No one is willing to spend a great deal of money for putting out a fake document. It is important to realize that there are legitimate online journals. These legitimate documents can be a wealth of information. It is wise to research any journal that you might want to join to make sure that they are the real thing.

Network marketing journals are written by experienced network marketing professionals. Since they make their living through the network marketing system, these journals are a wealth of information. Some marketers will include their own experience in their journals. This is to be informative and not to entice others to join the network marketing field. These writers will usually have a sales letter on their websites to encourage other to join the network marketing field.

Any program that is found to be operating less than legal will find its way into the marketing journals. These endeavors are usually covered in great detail. The purpose of this is to help potential marketers spot the illegal journals. Marketing journals help prospective marketers identify the trends of new products. They also have information about projecting business increases. The journals will also advise others if they need to sell a product that is facing bad future financial trends.

These futuristic insights help marketers know when to join or to get out of a business venture. Multilevel marketers feel they are in for the long haul. Others run their opportunities like a stock market trader, buying and selling as they see fit. Whether buying and selling or using safe ventures for a long period of time, anyone making a profit is very happy.

If you have no experience in the network marketing field you need to research several journals before joining one. Friends and acquaintances usually have a lot of advice but you should make your own decision. Anytime you make a business decision caution is advisable and this experience is not different. It is amazing that everyone knows what is best for you, when you are trying to make up your own mind.

Experts always advise other to find and join a good program quickly. They think it is best so that others can get in on the marketing tiers for higher commissions. These same experts will be the first to recommend for you to study and research the journals. They suggest you make sure you can handle the program and that it can keep your interest for a period of time.

Internet Business - Can You Earn Wealth Online

Internet marketing or network marketing, which one has a higher failure rate. The failure rate is very high for anyone who tries to do something outside of what they normally do everyday in their regular lives. So what if you really do want to make it big. Can you earn wealth online?

To really make a lot of money on the internet you have to have a really big goal. Quitting your job would be one. Giving away massive amounts of money to your favorite charity would be another. It needs to meaningful enough to you that you will do whatever it takes to achieve it.

I have good news. Never before in the history of the world it has been more possible for ordinary people to earn extra ordinary wealth using only a computer. This is now possible because of the internet and all of the money being spent online everyday.

You do not have to try to get people to spend money. You have to try to get them to spend it with you. This is the trick. It is very easy to get people to pullout a credit card online now. They are used to doing it. They are more trustful and they have had good results doing it already.

Sadly one way people get wealthy online is scamming other people out of their money. Before you join any money making home business or before you try any internet business be sure and check out what you are joining.

Here are 2 more important points.

1. You will have to acquire skills to market online
2. You must have a stick to it attitude because if you think it will happen overnight you are wrong.

Let's look a little closer at these 2 things. To get skills you can learn by doing or by reading and watching. I suggest you do both. If you pay attention to what is going on around you, you will see what the big boys are really doing to make massive amounts of money online.

Your goal is to find a couple and copy them to a certain extent. This means it is o.k. to buy they ebooks, and training material. Subscribe to their newsletters and read their blogs. Join any private memberships if you want the inside story.

The other thing is you have to get off the sidelines. If all you do is watch you will never accomplish anything. Part of learning is by failing and this is where your stick to it attitude really will come into play.

Not everything you do to earn money will pay off right away. Some of it will never pay off. That is alright because some of it will. Building a successful internet business is done one brick at a time so to speak.

This usually means building a website with lead capture form. Then adding quality products to sell and quality content to draw visitors in. These are your bricks. A successful long term internet business is the way to earn wealth because it is a get rich slow approach that can with stand the test of time.

The final important thing I can tell you is learn to advertise and market your website. This will include blogging, social bookmarking, pay per click advertising, article marketing, forum marketing, classified ads, traffic exchanges, ezine ads, submitting to search engines, and on and on we go.

By now you know you are going to really have to master traffic techniques if you want to get wealthy. The most successful people get the most traffic.

Can you earn wealth online? Absolutely you can and you will if you find the best way for you. Maybe you create your own product or sell someone else's, but it can certainly be done. And it can be done by you.

If you are like an ever growing number of businesses, you have staff located off site and away from a central office. Indeed, many businesses today have staff that work from home or that are located hundreds of miles away. Whatever the specific case, when you have staff located at distant locations, the need for effective and appropriate communication becomes all the more significant.

Four way video instant messaging can be an ideal way for you to stay in appropriate contact with your staff located at distant locations. For example, you can readily have staff meetings, bringing together your team through the four way video instant messaging system.

With four way video instant messaging, you can also connect with clients and strategic partners located anywhere in the world. You will find that this type of technology can prove invaluable in assisting you in providing the ultimate in professional services to your clients. You can communicate with them in a manner that is completely convenient for them and that does not take a great deal of time out of your own very full schedule.

In addition, the integrated services should be available to every major country in the world by the end of 2008. Why Should "Jumping The Gun" Be Avoided?

It is certain that you have seen and received an abundance of offers to join pre-launch network marketing companies, if you are a professional network marketer and are building your mlm business online.

These offers and packages can, many times, seem incredible in the given impression that you would be out of your mind if you did not join. However, it is important that you do not "jump the gun" in order to get in on the deal. Listed below are some reasons as to why you should never overlook "timing in the company along with timing in the industry".

Many people are not aware of the fact that over 90% of start up companies do not in actual fact last longer than two years. Growing pains is something which start up companies must experience. These companies have to witness software problems as well as ensuring that their overall systems are up and running as smoothly as possible. If it really is a fabulous mlm business opportunity, then it should certainly be ten times better after the duration of two tears. It is then, if you are still inclined, that you can join without having the concern that the business may fold.

A real life example of why "timing in the company and timing in the industry" is so important is whereby a number of years ago, a company existed by the name of Excel. This company came about after the federal government deregulated long distance here in the USA. This supplied a majority of companies with the opportunity to get in business. These companies were simply only reseller's of long distance packages. One of them happened to be Excel.

The outcome of Excel is that every person that joined the company within the first two years failed to make it. This is due to the fact that the three main telephone companies were not very cooperative at letting go of their customers. It was necessary that Excel go through litigation until eventually those customers who wished to, were able to switch to Excel. Therefore, no distributors were making money at that time.

The next stage was that Excel began to receive a vast majority of competition from other reseller companies that were new to come on to the scene. Everyone proceeded to purchase time from the three large companies, wholesale, and then sold it at a retail price to customers. Therefore the market became saturated.

It was after this time, that the dawn of what is referred to as the "flat rate" arrived. It was possible for people to pay a flat rate for their phone service, along with TV, cable and internet etc. and not have the worry of outrageously expensive telephone bills. This caused reseller companies such as Excel to have no profit margins remaining. I am certain that you can think of other companies that have also experienced this. There are many things that cost a great deal of money in the past, that are now much cheaper, or in some cases, free. One example of this is the price drop of computers.

The above story is just an example of what can happen to an mlm business. Therefore, as a distributor, it is vitally important to take care when considering taking a gamble and joining a pre-launch company. It is imperative to remember that even if it is a solid opportunity, it should continue to be going strong after two years. For this reason, it is advised not to "jump the gun".

Top MLM Best Practices

As a network marketing distributor, it is always important to keep abreast of the current best practices to ensure on-going business and growth. Here are the best practices that many top mlm leaders are using to successfully build their businesses.

Always have a advertising budget whether you are marketing online, offline, or doing a combination of both. Advertising is essential to your business life and growth. Stick to your budget for a year so that you will have on-going momentum. At the end of the year, evaluate how you have done and make adjustments as needed.

Keep in contact with your team. You can touch base with them on a regular basis by phone or by email. This is an important best practice strategy to implement, especially for those on your team who are serious team builders. Your team members joined, hopefully, because they know, like, and trust you. This doesn't stop after they join you, so keep in close contact. Once your team grows, you likely will not be able to talk and work with everyone 1:1. However, you can still work closely with your top leaders and teach them how to work with their people. This ensures strong support throughout the team.

Be consistent with lead generation. As a network marketing distributor, having a constant influx of interested prospects in your pipeline is necessary. It is also important to make sure that the system you use to attract prospects is duplicatable. In other words, it should be so simple that a veteran or someone just starting out can use successfully.

Build leaders and make them successful. You want to hear from your business builders, "I'll do whatever it takes", and not "Well, I'll just try and give it a shot." The second response usually means if things don't work out for the person, they very well may quit. Leaders also make sure their distributors order products. They never complain to their upline or downline, and have their own aspirations, goals, and drams. True leaders also will run a meeting if you are away. You want to build leaders with strengths such as these on your team.

Have a written plan. As a professional network marketing distributor, always write out your plan and how you desire to achieve your goals. Do this on a weekly basis, work it, and then review it at the end of the week. If you are not satisfied with how things turned out, make adjustments for the following week.

Discover the marketing practice that works best for you and become really good at it. This may be article writing, blogging, creating on-line videos, e-zine advertising, etc. If you are not sure what you want to do, implement what is working for others until you find what works best for you.

Becoming a successful network marketing distributor and leader does involve following the best practices others are using with great success. Study them, implement them consistently, and watch your business experience on-going growth.

Marketing Your Entry-Level Career

The fact that changing technology and "progress" are creating job opportunities in the most unexpected areas is a plus. This means that marketing or creating a need for your qualifications is crucial.

*Entry level candidates are cheap, plentiful, and easily found. Your resume needs to reflect an aspect that will make you stand out from the crowd and will help create a demand for your profile. You need to highlight a USP (unique selling point), whether it is an internship or professional training. If you worked and paid your way through your training, you will project yourself as a hardworking, committed person. Self discipline and time management are the character traits that will follow from you financing your education.

*Presentation of your qualifications and background is the make or break point. You will have 35 to 60 seconds to pique the interest of the employer - that is how long it will take them to read your resume and decide whether to invest the time in meeting you to decide if you can be groomed for a career in the organization.

*The employer has to decide whether your qualifications and background are likely to have given you the personality traits that you will require to succeed in a competitive world.

*Presentation or first appearances are very important. Your resume should be well written, grammatically correct, well laid out and balanced between brevity and informative. Big words, jargon and over-formatting tend to be overkill. Simple things like spacing, font size and general layout enhance clarity and readability.

There are divided opinions on the importance of an entry-level job. One school of thought says that the kind of job is not most important, as first jobs tend to be short jobs while the candidate continues to look out for a better job. The other school of thought says that entry level jobs could be an extended practical internship, therefore making the job content more important than the compensation.

Entry level jobs give a candidate a taste of the demands of a career and the sacrifices that have to be made to further a career. It is a testing ground for them to put their knowledge to practical use and exposes them to the unprotected environment of an office where everybody is trying to prove themselves. On the positive side, entry-level jobs can also give you the satisfaction of proving your competence.

How to Target Prospective Employers

*The placement office in your school is the most obvious place to start, especially since most institutions have campus recruitment programs. In addition, smaller organizations may not qualify for a slot in the campus recruitment schedule, but would be happy to recruit just one or two candidates. Technical jobs are best placed through this route as technology based organizations find this the most efficient way of filling in their entry-level positions.

*The Internet is the easiest and most accessible point for prospective employers. Resist the temptation to blindly send out your resume. Try and target your most suitable prospective employers where you are going to be able to get the experience that will bolster the qualifications you have acquired. Try and find out their correct mailing details and send them a customized and personalized job application - this will be more impressive.

*Cold calling is similar to sending out your resume on the Internet. It involves handing in your resume at offices that work in your area of expertise. This is more laborious and would restrict you to your area of location.

*Placement agencies get a variety of job requirements to fill. They are also likely to be able to give you some broad knowledge on the industry and the organization to which they will send your resume. They will also give you an idea of what kind of remuneration you can expect.

Your entry-level job is an important practical extension to the educational qualifications you have gained. Getting the right kind of job will provide focus to your career. Your first job is also likely to leave a lasting impression on you and will also help you form your work habits that you will use for the rest of your career.

Secrets To Network Marketing Success

Network marketing is a business that is characterized by the volume of competition that seems to swallow up many first timers. It is therefore not surprising that an entire sub business has sprung up which seeks to make money off those who are getting ready to cut their teeth at their first network marketing job by offering ebooks and costly online courses that claim to reveal secrets of the pros.

Is there really a well guarded secret to network marketing success which you will only be able to learn by purchasing an ebook or signing up for an online course? The answer is a resounding no. There is no secret formula, no subset of websites that you must know in order to surpass the competition and no skill that will send you over the top.

Instead, old fashioned traits like commitment to your network marketing that deals quickly and decisively with rejection and seeks to turn disadvantages into advantages and a solid work ethic that seeks to improve your approach, skill set and customer relations abilities whenever possible are the keys. Add to this an ability to learn from the failure of others and also glean their steps to success and you will have what it takes to make your own way in the field of network marketing.

It is interesting to note that how to really succeed in network marketing is not only dependant on your own work but also on your innate caution and skepticism when it comes to choosing the opportunities to which you will devote your time and effort. Remember that many of these opportunities are offered by companies which exist in cyber space only and a lack of a brick and mortar storefront sometimes entices those with fraudulent intentions to craft a spiffy website and seek to haul in unsuspecting individuals in search of network marketing possibilities.

Of course, the warning signs that you may be looking at a scam are plentiful. Programs that promise you will make money quickly, while you sleep, without really specifying any work that needs to be done should make you question the veracity of the entire setup. Once you have weeded out the questionable programs and settled on one or two that look promising, consider the amount of time you will be able to realistically devote to them. Pick the program that seems to most closely fall within the parameters of the time constraints you have.

From this point on, the amount of time and effort you expend on the network marketing opportunity is directly related to the amount of financial success you will enjoy. Networking can take place online and offline but remember that you will need to stretch yourself and work on creating and maintaining business contacts after you have reached for the low hanging fruit, such as friends and family.

Generally speaking, if you sign on to become a distributor for a particular company , remember that you will make money by making sales of the product as well as by recruiting others and helping them to sell the product. This will require a dual front effort which, if done properly, will richly reward you up to seven levels deep with residual income.

Business Networking In Sacramento CA

Business networking has been considered as one of the most important tools for developing a client or customer base in order to attain success. This tool is especially required in businesses, where a constant flow of clients is very essential, like retail business. There are some businesses that require additional networking, so that customers who have left could be replaced. For instance, a project related business like tutoring, car repair or home improvement would require additional networking to fill the gap because unlike retail business, work in these fields is not ongoing and if efforts are not made to look out for new clients, once the old client's contract is over, the business might face loss.

In the initial stages of your business, networking could be the best form of investment you can make. This has always been one of the most important factors that determined the failure or success of any business. There are many different things that networking could evolve into. It not only involves simple advertising techniques, but in effect goes beyond that. The different forms of networking include seminars, training sessions and conventions. It also involves any event, where business owners can come together in one central location.

In Sacramento, business networking brings people of different places together, so that they can present their ideas and thoughts to others present there. Some of them may be vendors or even competitors. You could get to see bonding and friendship among people, as a part of business networking, who would otherwise be in direct competition with each other.

Advertising for business networking:

Advertising is one very important aspect that many people think of in context of business networking. In fact, it is a major part of networking and the most important aspect, based on which a business could either be successful or a failure. It does not matter what type of business you are running, but you will require your clients or customers to buy your services or products. In order to create great ads, your company will require creative people. No matter how you look at advertising, it is a necessity to attract customers towards your products or services for better sales.

With the help of arts, you can draw in customers much easily, even though your products or services sell for the most part. As a business owner you should advertise yourself as an individual performer, so that more customers could be drawn. There is no point depending on a venue or an agent for your promotion. Developing a plan of action is a part of advertising. You need to develop a scheme that will help you know, where your networking efforts must be directed. If you own a business where turnover takes place consistently, due to outgoing and incoming services and projects, you will have to be cognizant of where most of your work is based, so that your advertising campaigns keep targeting that area for better results.

Target audience:

Whether a business sells services or products, it has a target audience. Target audience depends on what you are selling and how special that product is. For instance, if you are involved in the business of snow blowers in Sacramento, your advertising campaign will not be effective in Florida or Southern California. Make sure that your marketing and advertising efforts and money is directed towards the right target audience.

6 Great Benefits Of A MLM Opportunity

If you are considering joining a MLM opportunity or are looking for a way to convince someone to get involved, use these following six great benefits of why a MLM opportunity should be an opportunity to consider.

1. Low Or No Start-Up Cost

When you get involved with a network marketing company, the start-up costs are much lower then a regular brick and mortar business. There is much less risk involved with starting a MLM business because you don't have to risk losing that much capital if it does not work out. Most opportunities can be started with less then $300 or sometimes free.

2. The Training Is Free

When you join a MLM opportunity the training is provided to you free of charge by wither the company or your sponsor. Who ever recruited you into the business wants nothing more to see you succeed, because if you make a lot of money, they make more money, so it's a win-win situation.

3. No Need To Do Everyday Business Administration

The great thing about being an independent representative of a MLM company is that you don't have to worry about everyday administrative things like selecting products, research, shipping, billing, storage, etc. Everything is taken care of and all you need to do on your part is make sales or promote the opportunity.

4. You Don't Have To Quit Your Day Job

You can run your business part-time at home while still working your day job. All it takes is an hour or two a day to devote to your business. When you start to make enough money to match your current salary, you can then quit your job and do it full-time and double your organization quickly.

5. Run It On A Shoe String Budget

It does not cost a lot of money to promote a MLM business opportunity. You can work out of your home with just a computer and a cell phone. If you really want to take it step further you can get a domain name and website to market online with. The most important thing to know is that if you do decide to spend money advertising online, then you must track your results and manage your campaigns so you can cut losses on ads that don't convert well.

6. Last And Most Important: Residual Income

With a regular job, you exchange your labor for money. If you don't work or are out sick, you don't get paid. Even if you own your own business and have the power of leveraged income, if you are not open the money stops coming in. When you make money with a MLM opportunity, you do something once and get paid forever. You also have the leverage of earning a percentage of money from whatever you entire organization earns forever.

Small Business Marketing: Five Simple Steps to Get Three New Clients, NOW!

I am naturally a competitive person. I like to set a goal, treat winning like a game, then see where I need to challenge myself to reach my outcome. This strategy is the reason why I went from low six-figures to high six-figures in just twelve short months.

Which got me thinking: why not give a "marketing coach's challenge" to my readers to get three new clients in the next thirty days? If treated like a game (so you have fun!) this challenge can help you focus your marketing, your decisions and your actions in a positive, motivating and profitable way.

So, wanna play the "3 in 30 days" game with me? The rules are simple: decide, take action, and then repeat. Ready to get started? Here are five important steps to "win" at this fun and profitable game:

Step 1. What is the program or package you are offering to your three potential clients? List the results they'll get from hiring you. By focusing 90% of your list on the results and 10% on the program's features, your potential clients will clearly understand WHY they need to hire you.

Step 2. What is the specific problem your offer will solve? Time to throw out tired phrases like "improve your work/life balance" or "feel better about yourself." With this marketing idea, you hone in on solving one specific problem, and thereby give the gift of simplicity and focus to your overwhelmed potential client.

Step 3. How many people can you reach each day? This is not the time to be shy! Set a direct marketing goal to contact a certain number of people each day. Choose from making contact with colleagues, network marketing, speaking, writing an article, giving a teleseminar, emailing your database, sending out postcards or connecting with potential referral partners.

Step 4. How many different ways can you follow-up? The fortune truly is found in the follow-up in small business marketing! If you did nothing but follow up with potential client contacts from the past year you would easily and quickly reach your "3 in 30 days" goal.

Simply pick up the telephone, dial, and tell your potential client that you are going through your files and saw that six months ago they were working on solving XYZ problem to reach ABC goal. You're calling to see how that's working for them.

Follow up again with a hand-written note. Follow up again with a postcard, an article you saw that made you think of them, or an announcement for an upcoming teleseminar. Truly, if you follow up with your follow up, you will have a never-ending source of referrals and you will never again have to attend another boring network marketing event!

Step 5. What daily action can you take to motivate yourself and your potential new clients into action? As a marketing coach, I recommend setting daily goals, such as a set number of phone calls, postcards, outreach emails, requests for referrals, etc.

Even better, write down your daily small business marketing goals, then check each off as it's completed. Be sure and tackle your goals FIRST thing in the morning when you're fresh. Get them done early and the confidence that they inspire, makes you even more attractive to potential clients all day long!

As far as motivating potential clients goes, set the intention to move your potential client forward with each contact that you make with them. Don't be afraid to ask for their business. I have landed nearly all of my best direct marketing clients by telling them how much I wanted to be part of their solution to reaching THEIR goals. Have You Seen The MLM Makeover?

Most of us can recall a time in the past when we have been approached or even become involved with a network marketing company. Often it was as a result of an approach from a family member or friend. We were told how simple the business was to build and we were given simple techniques and tools that would guarantee our success. However, for most of us, it just didn't work no matter how hard we tried.

Today, there has been a revolution in network marketing that has been inspired by the internet. Suddenly, instead of having only a limited list of people we can approach, we have people we can contact that are in other parts of our country and even in other parts of the world. With the use of internet marketing tools, we no longer have to use the old ways of network marketing. There are new, cost and time effective ways that can help us grow substantial businesses.

To better demonstrate the makeover that has occurred, let's refresh our memories of the bad old days of network marketing. Often it was the extraverts that succeed in network marketing. They had the ability to develop networks of people and seemed to be able to talk to anyone about anything. Without meaning to be being disrespectful, to me they seemed as if they were born as used car sales people. For the rest of us, we struggled through our list of names (mainly family and friends) and by the end of the list we were friendless or alone.

We were told that everyone was a prospect. The product was so fantastic that everyone would want it. All we needed to do was share - there was no selling involved. If we couldn't make money in the business, we weren't motivated enough. There were "ra-ra" motivational rallies, motivational tapes and dream building. But still most of us couldn't get results from the business. A lot of what we were told or taught was simply lies.

Once we had completed our list of names, we were often encouraged to buy leads from lead companies. We were given scripts so we could call these leads. Often these leads had been sold many times over. Often they had no interest in our particular product or business opportunity. Mostly, we wasted our valuable time and money trying to build a business that we were destined to fail in. That's the unfortunate truth.

With the advent of the internet, a new breed of network marketer has emerged. These marketers are setting new business building records, creating large businesses, and achieving the goals they have always wanted. Many of these people are those who have been previously burnt by the old and unsuccessful network marketing model.

The new business model does not involve contacting your family and friends in the first instance. It doesn't involving buying leads and calling them using scripts. There is no more chasing after prospects trying to entice them into your business. Instead, there is a focus on getting rich slowly but surely through the development of business skills such as internet marketing. Multiple income streams are encouraged and business sustainability is a key goal.

While motivation techniques and dream building are always important for ongoing success, the key motivator for most people is actually learning to achieve results. Once you start getting results, this gives you the motivation to keep on going and to grow your business. In my opinion, this is the best kind of motivation of all. The new business model enables you to start seeing results sooner.

A key factor for the ongoing success of the new network marketing model is the use of what I call "attraction marketing". What this means is that rather than chasing prospects, systems are established that attract prospects to you. That way, you are only dealing with people who have an interest in your product or business opportunity and are looking to do business with you. This makes so much more sense to me than the old systems and processes of network marketing.

As you can see, there have been significant changes in network marketing over the last few years. If you have tried network marketing in the past and been burnt, but still have a belief that this business can work for you, then now could be a good time to become re-acquainted with network marketing again. Just make sure you are dealing with someone who has moved to the new way of building successful network marketing businesses. Here's to your success!

Are You Looking for a "People's" Business? Then Try Network Marketing

If you've heard of "network marketing," you might also have heard that it's a "people's business." In effect, it can be quite similar to MLM marketing and franchising. Those who advocate it say that it is the ultimate "people's business." In short, there's nothing else like it.

Of course, it's true that those in network marketing will respond to this in the affirmative, where it may be that those not familiar with the industry or those with less than pleasant experiences of it might not agree with this idea at all. One unique thing about this kind of businesses that each individual distributor is his or her own boss, but is never employed "alone." They're always part of a larger network. The compensation models as well are designed so that every person in the business has support from someone in his or her up-line.

It's true that you can make a fortune with this type of business and indeed, you may have done just so. However, this is not true of most people. Nevertheless, every individual distributor does have the same chance as anyone else to achieve this kind of success. Whether you succeed or fail in network marketing is not dictated by any of the traditional barriers to success in business, be it gender, background, race, age or politics. Instead, it's entirely focused on results. Because of this, this is also something that could be called the "fairest" type of business in the world.

For many if not most, what makes their home based business most valuable is not in its financial return but in the lessons taught. They can truly be priceless and many have called the growth they have experienced life changing. Because it is continually challenging, anyone interested in it must leave his or her comfort zone and grow. In most cases, this will make you a better person.

Why is network marketing unique in this respect, then? Of course, every entrepreneur has to deal with challenges and most will also experience personal growth because of this. However, the significant difference is that most entrepreneurs are self-made and learned their expertise almost completely without any type of formal education. A family member, or a mentor could have taught them, or they may have simply learned by trial and error. It's quite rare that you'll find someone here who possesses a huge library of books or tapes on personal development. Most also don't attend seminars or motivational training. Indeed, this can be true, but there're also many seminars that teach you how to be successful better than a degree from a university can.

One benefit of network marketing is that an educational system is built right into the training systems of any good network marketing company. Network marketing, simply, places perhaps the most emphasis of any type of business on personal development. Even though many companies argue that they spend a lot of their budget on educational programs, in effect, what they do is really personnel development. And contrary to "personnel development," network marketing is focused on "personal development," or building people.

If you want to learn more about how to be successful in your life, and you don't have a lot of money or a scholarship, then network marketing might just be what you need to teach you what you want to learn.

Are You A Corporate Mystic?

"If we plant a seed in the ground we know that the sun will shine and the rain will water, and we leave it to the Law to bring results... Well, the desire you image is the seed, your occasional closing of the eyes in imagery is the sun, and your constant, though not anxious, expectation is the rain and cultivation necessary to bring absolutely sure results..."

Francis Larimer Warner, Our Invisible Supply: Part One (1907)

I am certain that if you check the curriculum at Harvard Business School, Wharton or the London School of Economics, you won't find a course on corporate mysticism. After all, succeeding in business is a competitive, numbers-driven game that relies on hard facts, financial analysis and exploitation of markets, isn't it? What a vested interest many of us have in that belief. After all, could we actually succeed in business by employing our intuition, by tapping into a collective consciousness of readily available signs and guideposts to bring our intended result?

Believe it or not, the evidence says yes. Although some of the methodologies and strategies that are taught at Harvard and other revered institutions may be good measurements of how well a company is operating, the overwhelming reason why business decisions are made by the top executives in most organizations is "intuition' or "gut feelings."

Are you kidding me? Business decisions being made by "feel" rather than cold, hard market data? Well, it certainly is a growing trend. The evidence is all around us. Most people are familiar with the "odd stories" of Thomas Edison awakening from a nap carrying the solution to a seemingly daunting problem. Or Richard Branson "just happening" to be at the right place at the right time to make the most of a business opportunity. Quite honestly, these seemingly unrelated patterns or sequences are as natural as the sun rising every day.

Tapping Into Collective Wisdom

So what are today's keen business owners and entrepreneurs "tapping into" that propels them to one success after another with little or no resistance? They are tapping into the collective wisdom that is readily available to everyone. In his book, The Wisdom Of Crowds, James Surowiecki points out that this collective wisdom "has endless ramifications for how business people operate, how knowledge is advanced, how economies are organized, and how we live our daily lives." Simply put, we all have cognitive powers that can be employed (in the very real sense) to assist us in making important business decisions. After all, how many times have you said to yourself in hindsight, "I just knew it," or "If I only listened to myself and bought that stock (real estate, etc.)"?

The powerful truth is, you already know what to do. Most of us have strong intuitive senses about business decisions, but we tend to override these senses with "rational thinking." There's a rule of thumb I recommend in these situations; use your intuition to bring you to the decision and use data to help you execute the strategy. This methodology has been incredibly effective for many of the world's great entrepreneurs. Steve Jobs used this strategy when launching iPod for Apple. Li Ka-Shing has stated, "Actually, I don't consider myself a good businessman," despite his uncanny ability to "sniff out" good deals.

Being a Source

There's more. In their groundbreaking book, The Corporate Mystic- A Guidebook For Visionaries With Their Feet On The Ground, Kate Ludeman and Gay Hendricks studied hundreds of entrepreneurs and business owners from companies such as Motorola, Dell and many more. Their conclusion: "If you open up to being a source of integrity, vision and intuition in your organization, you step into leadership regardless of what niche you occupy. Many people wait to be instructed or reminded to take full ownership of these powers. The Corporate Mystic knows that real power and real fun comes from being a source. When you are the source, you take full responsibility for bringing into being the corporate culture you want. Everyone can be the source, and when they think they are, they are. If you are willing to let go of your resistance to being a source, you claim a type of spiritual power that others can feel."

Does this mean I must be the "spiritual" leader of my organization? Well in a sense, yes. The way business is being conducted today is changing rapidly. Today, business is all about collaboration, not competition. It's about building communities (of customers) not just building brands. The dinosaurs of the business world were necessary. They served their purpose. But now they are going extinct. Why? The leadership in these companies forgot to be the source. They made decisions for short-term profits, which represses intuitive and inspired action.

So decide what it's going to be for you. Decide what your vision for your company is and use your intuitive capabilities to see you through.

Here's a quick roadmap from The Corporate Mystic to help you along:

* Focus on contribution. Be deeply concerned about the empowerment of other people.
* Be on a continuous journey of self-knowledge and apply what you discover to your business decisions.
* Laugh a lot at your workplace.
* Get to know the pure essence of your customers and give them what they want.
* Embrace change and use your intuitive abilities to create the change that is most advantageous to your mission.

Last, keep in mind that business is supposed to be fun. As an entrepreneur or business leader, you have one unequivocal responsibility: to increase the value of life through the delivery of your business mission. Be eternally conscious of and honor your personal spirit. Thereby you will expand opportunities for everyone you come into contact with.

When you think about an internet business, what do you think of first? Which aspects of a business on the internet are important? Which are essential, and which ones can you take or leave? What are the characteristics most successful internet business owners have?

You decide if this is you!

Owning an online home business can be a fun, profitable, and growing opportunity for the right person. But you must have the right characteristics to be successful. Some people are born with it, others have to learn these.

Online businesses today are quickly becoming the norm allover the world. With all of the economic problems, setting up an internet business can become the answer to many people's money problems.

But what does it takes to run a successful business? What are the characteristics of successful internet business owners? Online businesses may be easy to set up and harder to make a success out of.

You need certain qualities beyond building a website to have success on the internet.

Here is a list of some of 4 of the most important characteristics of a successful home based business owners.

1. You must love business. In particular you must love doing business the internet way. This is all about sales and marketing online now, but there is a certain passion for what you are doing that must show through.

This passion will keep you working on days when the money is not so good. It will be your driving force. If you do not like, or even love, what you are doing you will become like almost everyone else and give up and quit.

The failure rate of internet businesses can almost always be traced back to a lack of passion for what they were doing. This is why it is so important to start your home business in a niche you have a passion for.

2. You must be a goal achieving person. This means that you must be able to set achievable goals. A goal-oriented business owner knows where to focus their time. The goals are the motivation to keep on working and creating success.

You build one more web page. Another blog post finds it's way into your blog. You sit and click on traffic exchanges ads so you get the chance to have your own website seen one more time. The goals are what drives you.

3. Here is a great characteristic of a successful home based business person. They love the chase more than the end result. The pay days are the reward, but it is the journey that is the most fun part of doing a business online.

If you enjoy the process of success you will never look at the clock. You will probably even be surprised at how fast another day went by. And you will jump out of bed and run to your computer ready to get started all over again.

4. One final thing I want to mention. A successful business person never gives up. You will get knocked down so many times that you will wonder what hit you. That is part of the game. It will take a lot of effort on your part and I can tell you right now if you are quitter you will never be successful with an internet business.

This is 4 characteristics of a successful internet business owner. This is not a nuts and bolts article, but rather things that you must have deep inside you to be successful.

Renegade Network Marketer - How To Use Attraction Marketing For MLM Profits!

If you're not using the principles of attraction marketing in your MLM business then it's likely you'll keep spinning your wheels furiously trying to keep your head above water.

The playing field is changing in MLM; a point bourne home by Ann Sieg in The Renegade Network Marketer. The old methods of prospecting are one of the prime reasons people drop out of the industry in droves every day.

Quite simply, many network marketers just don't like hassling friends, neighbors and relatives to look at a business opportunity; it's not natural and is bad business sense. Why? Well, you're targeting unqualified leads. It's a hit and miss affair, more miss than hit and eventually, people get fed up and drop out.

Statistics tell us 90% of network marketers drop out of their business within three months. Does this reflect that the old methods of prospecting are working? Not on your life. Then why are they still rammed down the throats of new distributors?

Attraction marketing is a completely different ball game. It's the renegade network marketer game. Targeted prospects coming to you and wanting to hear about your offer. But it's not quite as simple as that.

The attraction game is a process. It's about pre-selling your prospect; teaching and training them during the lead up phase and more importantly, profiting from them to create cash flow in your business as you continue to build it.

The reason why most distributors are part of the 90% club is because they cannot maintain their financial commitment to their business during the slow building phase of network marketing. Waiting for the duplication effect to kick in takes a long time.

If you're teaching your downline the same old methods you were taught by your upline then imagine how slow your business will grow. What happens when your names list runs dry? Who do you approach about your business then?

The trick to staying afloat in your MLM business is creating additional streams of income to help finance your primary business. Does that make sense? If the only thing you're showing your prospects is your main opportunity then you're leaving a ton of money on the table.

The renegade network marketer is one who knows how to generate cash flow from day one. He/she knows how to sell to 1000 people in the same time it takes to prospect one person using the old tactics. And that's the key to succeeding in network marketing in the 21st century.

How To Retire 3-5 Years In MLM

This is the mantra that has been drilled into every MLM prospects head over and over again. This is just one of the selling points that every recruiter uses to try and close the deal. It is old promise of if you start a network marketing company, you will retire in 3-5 years and live off the residual income for the rest of your life. So just how true is it? Is it really possible for the average person to retire 3-5 years in MLM? We are going to take a hard look at this industry and discover the truth about the promise made to so many people. We are going to breakdown what it takes if you want to truly retire in MLM or be part of the 95 percent who fail.

The first thing that you should know is that the industry has taken a whole new direction now with the invention of the Internet. There now exist many network marketing companies online and they offer the possibility for the average person to market with professional tools and advice. In traditional multilevel marketing companies, you had to do most of your recruiting by phone, mail or in person. With Internet network marketing you now have unlimited resources at your fingertips and cost of advertising is greatly reduced with all of the free marketing resources available today.

Here is my list of essential tools that you will need if you want to truly retire 3-5 years in MLM.

A Duplication System

You can't be successful in this business unless you have a way to show your downline a way to duplicate your success. The number one reason that people drop out in a couple of months is because they see no money and get no help from their sponsor. They then move on to the next great offer hoping that this will be the one, only to be disappointed one more time because they get the same results.

If you find something that works you need to share it with your downline. Make them your first priority and make sure they start making money right away so they will stay interested and promote the opportunity to new people offering them the same system that you showed them. The great thing about doing it online is that duplication is a much easier and automated process. You can simply build a website or sales letter and give this away to new affiliates so they can do the same. This will grow your business exponentially over time.

A Communication System

In order to retire 3-5 years in MLM you have to constantly be in contact with your team members and make sure that they are on the right path. It is vital that you answer all their questions about the business and help them in any way getting started on the road to success. Many recruiters tend to ignore their team once they get them into the business and leave them stranded with no road map or support for success.

A great way to keep in contact with your team and send out bulk message updates to everyone is with the use of an auto-responder. With an auto-responder you can collect the e-mail addresses of all your team members and store them online. It is kind of like sending a group message in an e-mail program like Outlook only better. With this auto-responder you can put together a pre-written set of messages and send them out automatically over time at intervals you define. This way you can instantly send out updates and tips for your downline all at once every month without any work on your part except setting up the auto-responder for automation.

Get Your Own Website And Domain Name

If you are serious about retiring 3-5 years in MLM you are going to need to get setup with your own website and domain name. It is important that you establish yourself as an authority in your area and people will trust you and your advice. You can still get your own name registered as a domain. If you can't get a dot com then there are other extensions that will have your name available. After getting a domain you will need a website to establish your presence online. This site can be a portal to your MLM business and also have articles written by you that will bring targeted visitors looking to join a business opportunity.

Finally And Most Important: Take ACTION!

This is the simplest and most important advice you need to know. Just this one word alone can be the deciding factor in your success or failure. The only reason why people don't find success in any are of life is because they fail to take action. You might be used to buying many books on making money and reading them, but have you actually tried really hard to implement the plans laid out for you? This is the one thing that is holding you back from success. All you have to do is set aside a little time out of your day to take some action and over time the effects of it will snowball into something huge.

Now that I have laid out the plan of action for you, you have no excuses. If you really want to retire 3-5 years in MLM or even sooner then stop reading and start taking action. You will be thanking me later when you see your checks increasing monthly from your efforts.

Home Business New Years Resolutions - How to Use Turnkey Solutions to Start in Internet Marketing

Everyone is making resolutions - right? Lose weight, start a home business, make more money, fire your boss. Check, check, check, check. Resolutions are great, but their success depends on follow through and the right system.

"Three years ago I was sitting down thinking 'here I am again "states William Wildig. "I had a ton of New Year's resolutions, I joined a gym, I bought self-help books I signed up for a home based business and by the end of February, I was doing the same old thing. My current life took over my dreams."

This is the common problem that most people face when trying to start up a network marketing business. Their current life took over from their dreams and they never made good on the resolution. In reality, most did not even make a start on that resolution. Why is that? Were they lacking in something, motivation, guts, information? Or was it just the HOW and WHERE of making the change.

For a lot of people starting a home based business means some form of what is called network marketing, multi-level marketing or MLM. What ever it is called, the steps to success are all the same. Whether it is person-to-person selling, internet marketing or a mixture of both, action and more action is required to succeed. The failure rate of network marketing alone is 97%. How can a person become one of the 3% that succeed and make the kind of income they read about all over the internet?

For many people, the words "network marketing" or "MLM" (multi-level marketing) invoke nightmare images of hitting up your the so-called "warm market." The warm market includes those one to three hundred people close to you, but soon to loathe the sight of you. It also includes those unfortunate enough to have crossed your path at some time in the distant past or at the supermarket this morning. You then plead, cajole, persuade, argue and plain pressure them to join your program. Or (heaven forbid) organize house parties and presentations to make your pitch to a captive audience.

For most people, once they sign up for a network marketing campaign, they realize that the only way to sell their product is to personally sell to the poor souls that are crossing their path. What is the result: They quit.

What is an option then? The option is to run a network marketing campaign using the internet. There is no cold calling and no scaring your friends and family away with your sales pitches (unless you really want to, that is).

Internet marketing is a way to get people to approach YOU to join your business rather that you approaching them. This is a truly revolutionary way to approach network marketing. And the best thing is that internet marketing done right can sell anything.

Over the last year, Wildig has been conducting an internet marketing business offering financial educational training and tools and special financial affiliations. "Once I had the right training and system to market myself and the company's educational materials, the internet proved to be the path to a six-figure income. If I can run an exclusively internet business on-line so can you," says Wildig. "I found a group that allowed me to earn income while I learned various internet marketing techniques and they even made the first calls to my prospects."

Wildig is quick to point out that internet marketing is not creating a website and then sitting back expecting the business to run itself. "I work every bit as hard in my online network marketing business as I would in an offline network marketing business. This is just a different method, that's all."

So what is involved in running a network marketing business online then?

At its core, network marketing (whether on-line or off-line) is a simple business. It's all about generating leads, qualifying those leads and then following up with those qualified leads until they take the action you want them to take (or tell you to stop) - either by purchasing product from you or joining your downline as a productive distributor.

Network marketing at its core is a numbers game. Therefore, it is IDEALLY suited to being run online. Why? Because ALL internet business is a numbers game. In real estate the key is location, location, location. In the internet world, it is traffic, traffic, traffic. The key to internet business is getting as many people to your web site as you can. The numbers show that only somewhere in the range of 2% - 4% of site visitors will click on a link that can generate revenue for the web-site owner. Of those 2% - 4% of visitors who click on the link, however, only 1% or so of THEM will go on to buy after clicking on the link. Therefore, with such tiny response rates, high traffic is the Holy Grail. The same principle holds true for network marketing businesses.

How do you generate traffic? This depends on your starting position. If you already have an established web site and your network marketing business is a natural fit with that existing site, then you will not need to do too much in the way of additional lead generation for your network marketing business other than including a link to your network marketing company's web site from your existing site. Most people do not have this luxury.

If you don't have an existing web site, you're going to have to start from ground zero. Most people have no idea how to do this. Wildig started his internet business from scratch and was up and running on the internet within fifteen minutes using a turnkey solution called "CarbonCopyPro." That system removed the website creation, marketing material and initial personal sales contact from the equation. "I had no idea how to market myself when I started. It provided me with a system and training that allowed me to get a website up and running quickly. My sponsor provided me with the tools to learn how to market my site and myself while making money," states Wildig.

Without a turnkey solution, you are going to need to create a web site, link to your network marketing company's site from that web site, submit your site to the search engines and employ all the other ways of driving traffic to it, and you may need to start publishing an ezine (electronic newsletter) or blog on a relevant subject and on a regular basis and build a sizeable subscriber list (again using a variety of different methods).

To generate significant traffic to your site and subscribers to your ezine/blog is going to take time. Lots of it. Months, in fact. A new website should probably allow a year before it's at a size that will make much of a difference.

Most people do not have the time or resources to work for a year to build a subscriber base that will generate enough income to live on, let alone enough to live a good life style.

The next option then is a turnkey approach. There are a number of services that provide what they call a turnkey approach, but currently only one that not only offers website set ups and marketing material, but also offers to make that all important first call to the lead. "Having a turnkey solution gave me the tools to be successful beyond my wildest dreams. I never could have learned so much about internet marketing in such a short time with out it. It changed my life and helped me to finally keep a New Years Resolution."

Achieving Network Marketing Success with a Proven Method of Ezine Ad Placement

Calculate precisely where and how you want your ad to appear. The publication you choose to create a promotional relationship with comes through a better understanding of the basics in ezine advertising. You will have a target publication, a target audience and a great idea of what you want to say.

Every form of promotion in network marketing involves an aspect of risk. With this in mind, carefully decide exactly what you want to invest and how you want it invested. The optimal choice is to take each potential method for a trial period; solo ads, sponsor ads and classified ads. Using all three methods at once can be a financially exhaustive venture and one that is unnecessary at the onset of advertising.

The best method provides ample room for trial-and-error. It allows you to thoroughly test the audience of the publication and see which item draws the greatest response from the readers.

Begin your advertising venture with a solo ad. These exclusive areas will give you the greatest visual impact for your marketing dollars. Forgo any further advertising for a brief period to fully learn how effective this form of ad is for your product or service. Once you are comfortable that the ad has given you all the possible return it can, then take your promotion to the next level: find a sponsor.

Employ the work of a sponsor ad to see how effective this method is. Does it draw as much traffic as a solo ad? Does it give you the better results or is it an inferior method? For some products, a sponsor ad may draw much more interest than a solo one.

Allow several issues to be published before trying the last method: classified advertising. Judge its effectiveness based upon the same criteria as listed above. Above all, is it worth your investment?

Repeat this process for as long as you wish. Committing to all three forms at the same time with a single publication is a monumental task. It is better to ascertain the audience first. If you know exactly how each ad will affect the subscribers, then you will better judge how you want to place your product or network marketing service.

Your primary concern is seeing, at a minimum, your advertising investment capital returned. It is not worth your money if the potential audience is unresponsive or the base of subscribers is apathetic to your product or service.

Another factor to bear in mind when designing your ad is word choice and emphasis. Wording should reflect your excitement about your product or service. It tells the viewer you are eager to work with them and provide a solution to the problem they face.

Internet Business Opportunities - The Best Way To Start A Home Business

Have you been searching for online opportunities? If so, there is a good chance that you are considering starting your own home based business. This may sound like a large undertaking on the surface, but did you know that thousands of people start a home business every day? This is not to say that it is easy to do, but if they can get started, there is no reason that you can too.

The first thing that you need to do is to consider between many online opportunities that are available to you and to decide what kind of home business you want. It is very important that you are interested in what ever you are doing, otherwise you are going to get bored and eventually you will give up.

One of the most popular ways to start an internet business is to set up a website. This is something that a lot of people pass by for their business because they think that they need to have a lot of technical knowledge.

Well, of course you do need to know something about computers and the internet, but if you are willing to put your mind to it you can take advantage of this new business model. In fact, there are teenagers who make a good bit of money with a great website. As you can imagine, if the younger generation can start a home business you should be able to work just as hard to reach the same plateau.

Another internet business opportunity to look into is setting up an online store. In other words, you will sell stuff online as opposed to setting up a land based store. This is a great way to control your costs while also getting into a line of work that interests you. The great thing about this is that you can either sell your own products, or you can use a drop shipping service to sell somebody else's. Either way, an e-commerce store is a great home business idea if you are interested in pushing products.

Finally, look into opportunities that offer a service. This can be anything from a freelance writer to a website or graphic designer. No matter what you like to do, there is a good chance that you can market your services online, and in turn, start a home business that already suits your needs. When your business is based around your current interests you will have a much better chance of succeeding from day one.

With so many internet business opportunities to choose from, it is up to you to find the one that you can make happen. A home based business is not always easy to set up, but if you ask the thousands of people who have succeeded with this, they will tell you that it is well worth the time and effort. The bottom line is that there is a right business which is perfect for you. Go out and grab it!

Putting All the Pieces Together

When starting a business, how do you put all the pieces together when you don't know what the pieces are?

I've attempted to build a few businesses in the past but I failed miserably before I even started because I was never told what I needed to know in order to be successful.

This time around I decided that I had to take responsibility for my own business. My sponsor, although a good man, can't possibly be held responsible for my business. Regardless of promises made prior to signing up. Afterall he has his own team to build. The very first piece of the puzzle is to take responsibility for your own business.

The next piece is to know the company and it's policies and procedures inside and out. You must know every aspect of your business and this includes the P&P. In the policy and procedures document that every company has you will learn what you need to know in order to stay compliant with the company. Read this document entirely. Write down any questions that come up and then consult the company's website FAQs. Any questions you may have left should be directed to your sponsor. Any questions that your sponsor cannot answer need to be submitted to the legal or compliance departments.

It's important for you to give at least two weeks for these departments to respond to your question. You are not the only person asking questions and they respond in order of receipt. This also means that if the way you build your business will be impacted by the answer then you need to wait for the answer and move forward in your business with the things that you already know are in compliance.

Now it's very easy to get the attitude of, "It's my business and I'll do what I want!" but please understand this attitude may cost you your business. Even major fast food restaurant franchisees have to comply with the corporate office's regulations. It's only to protect both the company and your business.

Another piece of the puzzle is marketing/advertising. Please understand that this one piece contains lots of smaller pieces. When you put all or most of these pieces together you will find that your business starts to grow with little help from you. You must first check to see what marketing/advertising materials are already available so you don't re-invent the wheel. Then you must submit your own materials to the right department for approval before using them. Besides submitting your marketing/advertising material to the parent company may result in your material being used company wide..

As I said earlier there are a lot of smaller pieces to the marketing/advertising piece. Here are a few of them:

* Email blasting with autoresponder
* Leads for cold calling
* Lead capture pages (aka landing or splash pages)
* Ezine ads
* Newspaper / classified ads
* Free For All link sites
* Search Engine submission / optimization
* Personal Website
* Blogs
* Articles
* Joint Ventures
* Viral Marketing

The list goes on but the above are most used. Now when you start looking into all of these it's easy to get confused. I mean which company offers the best service for the price? How do you know the leads you're purchasing aren't just recycled lists that everyone else has gone through also? The questions can gone forever.

The short answer is this....your sponsor should be sharing with you everything he/she is using that has worked for them complete with costs involved. This should be part of the team training process. Let's face it - you can't sign up for a business and expect to have people knocking down your door while you continue to do nothing. We also need to understand that the entire reason that Network Marketing works is because when someone in our team experiences growth, so do we.

Why aren't sponsors sharing their marketing/advertising strategies with you? Great question, I'm glad you asked...

I think this is a very good question. Why aren't sponsors starting the training/learning process by introducing you to what works -- or at least what's worked for them? Simple....

Some sponsors have built their business the old fashioned way -- warm market followed by cold calls and building relationships with total strangers in an effort to increase their business numbers. Actually, I shouldn't say "some" but most have done it the old fashioned way.

Now I'm not saying that you need to sit at your computer all day and deal with people only through email -- I hate that just as much as the other guy. What I am saying is that more and more people are staying home and getting everything they need from the internet. We can now order everything -- including pizza -- by logging into the internet and searching for it. Why does everyone prefer the internet over leaving the house?

Easy -- search engines can find you whatever you're looking for -- all you have to do is ask for it. They don't give you a hard time and ask why you want to know.

Can you do that at the mall? I mean really -- can you go into any store in the mall, ask a question and get the best possible answer without a hassle? Heavens NO! You'll be lucky if the store employee can direct you to the nearest restroom....

We all must move to marketing online or our businesses will die a slow, painful death....okay perhaps a little too dramatic but you get my point.

The problem? Your sponsor may not know where to begin either BUT...you could learn together. Make sure that you keep track of everything. Track your URLs (there are a few free sites for this) so you know which advertising campaigns are working and which ones aren't. Learn how to write effective emails - search online for free courses. And discover where to buy the best double opt-in leads for your company. Unfortunately the best to figure this out is to purchase a small list, run your ad and watch how well it does. Only then will you know if it was worth your money.

Keep a WORD file of every site you're using, the ad copy you used, when you posted, when you have to renew the ad, etc. Remember to keep track of the costs as well. The ads no good if it's costing more than it's bringing into your business.

Then....

Share the information with your team AND your sponsor. Perhaps if we would remember we're in this together we'd all be doing better.

Remember what we all love most about Network Marketing....everyone has the ability to win at the game of financial independence. This includes YOU.

It's also important to remember that you must keep it all going at the same time. If you stop doing one thing just so you can do another then you're not going to get anywhere. You need to do as many of the things mentioned earlier as possible.

How do you do that without going nuts or spending all of your time on marketing/advertising?

Schedule time everyday just for marketing/advertising and give your business a marketing/advertising budget. Stay within that budget - no matter what.

Getting started will take the longest. I'd recommend creating your ads and emails first -- even before you know where you're going to post them or who you're going to send them to. That way once you know what sources you're going to use all you have to do is copy and paste from your file then make notes about each campaign.

Keep it as simple as possible and learn how to automate it so you can get back some of your free time. For now though, remember that you'll have to give up some of your free time in order to get this set up and working for you. Get serious, stay serious and hit the ground running. We're starting a new year make this one count...

Four Ways Leaders Need to Communicate

The leader is the broker of a message. The manager is a broker of information. And yet, managers can be leaders. It all depends on the significance of the message and what they do with it. Adept managers can take an old message and re-tool it and then leverage it into greater influence.

That is what leaders do. They influence others. It may be formal influeence in their employment. It may be entrepreneurial as it is with the small business owner or network marketer.

It may be personal such as occurs in volunteer work in charities and churches. Whatever the venue, the line between managing and leadership is discerned by looking at the message and how effectively it is brokered.

Let's say you are the leader next door. Is your message information or vision? Is it cold facts or does it have passion and life? How much do you believe in the message and identify with it?

For a leader to have significance the message must have significance. Significant to the audience (the follower), notjust the leader!

What do you need to know about the audience?

I always recommend doing a written audience analysis. Do it as simply as possible without putting its effectiveness in jeopardy. If you are familiar with the audience, it may be as simple as setting down with a paper, breaking down the audience into segments, and listing characteristics of each segment. Then find connecting points between the segments and the message.

Audience segmentation can be based upon a combination cultural characteristics, gender characteristics, educational background, economic background, sports, or favorite TV programs. These and other may give insight into what stories, illustrations, or metaphors might effectively help the audience focus and listen.

What does psychology have to do with it?

You should probably consider the psychological aspect of audience analysis. The personality types of the audience. Since the times of the ancient Greeks, four distinct personality types have been recognized.

Most people are a combination of more than one type and may exhibit characteristics of other types. Many adapt their personality type because of self-awareness, education, training, life experiences, or influences of social situations or stressors.

You will often be more effective as a leader when you design you message to include connecting points for all four personality types.

How do you target messaging for each personality type?

The first thing is to understand the type. Many systems have been developed to explain them. Some systems use colors, some use a form called DISC. Another system uses four different animals to represent each type.

Although initially introduced to another system, I prefer the Greek designations because of the quality of the literature that has been written using them. I think it is worth the effort to learn them.

How do you communicate with cholerics?

In alphabetical order, the first type is the Choleric personality. This type of personality is extroverted, tends to see the big picture, and has no trouble taking charge. Cholerics tend get upset when people do not do what they want.

Cholerics tend to make quick decisions and delegate work. They are more goal-oriented than they are people sensitive. Timid people sometimes see choleric personalities as rude or overbearing. Cholerics lead through taking charge.

To convince cholerics you have to gain their respect. If they view you as uncertain or unprepared you lose. They like winners.

If you want to convince cholerics to attend a function, tell them all the leaders will be there. Let them know how what you offer will make them a better leader. Cholerics lead through the force of their personalities.

How do you communicate with melancholies?

Melancholy is the next type. Melancholies tend to be introverted and see the details. Melancholy personalities like rules to follow. The like to know that they have done things right. They get upset with rule-benders.

Melancholies make decisions based upon facts and rules. They are always hungry for more information and it is sometimes are paralyzed by their analysis. They are sometimes seen by other people as nit-picky. They lead through detailed policies and procedures.

To convince melancholies you need to have details. They want to see all of the points on the PowerPoint and have them explained. You may want to provide supplemental material with lots of details to them.

If you want to convince melancholies to attend a function, tell them that they will get all the information they want.

How do you communicate with phlegmatics?

Phlegmatics are highly relational. They like lots of time to make decisions and don't like to be rushed. They are not as rules driven as Melancholies, but like to weigh the relational impact of decisions. They look out for others and are willing to sacrifice their own interests to help others.

Because they tend to be non-confrontational they may not verbalize their feelings, but they often resent those who run roughshod over them or hurt others.

They will often go along with a strong personality, but when they reach their limit they often break away completely to avoid on-going conflict.Sometimes there is no reconciliation.

To convince a phlegmatic you have to show them how things are in the best interest of the group. You often need a format where they are asked their opinion. You may need to communicate in a way that levels the playing field and keeps them from being dominated. They lead by forming alliances.

How do you communicate with sanguines?

Sanguines want to have fun. They are people sensitive but use that sensitivity to manipulate to place themselves as the center of attention. Sanguines are often so concerned about having fun that they are disorganized.

Sanguines relate well with people. They are often seen as winsome and charming. They are usually uninhibited in social settings and get over their own mistakes and those of others very quickly. After all, it ruins the fun to hold grudges.

If you want a sanguine personality to attend an event, tell them how much fun it will be or give them a position up front where they will be noticed. A sanguine would probably make a great master or mistress of ceremony for an event. Sanguines lead by being using their ability to be winsome.

In conclusion.

Personality type is a pre-disposition. Everyone has to learn to compensate for the weaknesses of their preferred mode. In communicating, it is important to know your own personality so that you balance your preferences with the needs of those in the audience who may be a different personality type.

It is a good idea to look at your communication i.e. your personal or, business communication, or network marketing training and ask, "What is in it for each of the different personalities?" When combined with a segmented audience analysis, it will help you create powerful communication strategies.
